My little 'project', that I need to make a full thread for but am too lazy to :guilty:
*pic*
It started a lot worse, i.e. I basically bought it as a shell :scared:, lol.

Very nice đź‘Ť looking foward to seeing the full thread :sly:

So that's why you can always smash everyone's lap times online. :P

Looks sweet! What have you done to it?

A lot., but some highlights are B-series eng swap, striped interior, custom-built cage, refreshed/upgraded suspension, and lots of seat time. đź‘Ť

Got a 3-day weekend coming up for Labor Day, maybe I'll get around to making the thread đź’ˇ

Get a GoPro and make a video too, I love watching them for some reason.

Here are a couple shots of my SR powered S14 Street/Drift car. It's not a very good street car, yet not exactly a competitive drift car. Best of both worlds to me haha.

My "Race" car. :D

Thanks guys! It's OEM blue emerald I believe, though it usually looks green. It's pretty crazy for an OEM color to change so much in the light.

I have a bunch more pics too if anyone would like me to make a thread for it.

Lots of great Beetle talk :D

If you want to keep an aircooled VW engine, I would recommend a decent amount of work for a Gymkhana engine. Even if you don't want that much power, 200bhp can sometimes be horrible to get out of them, unless you want to go down the turbo route, in which case the engine will still need work to stop it blowing itself apart. Have you thought about an engine swap? Maybe a Type 4 engine or a really interesting one would be a bike engine. There are a few R1 engined Beetle's out there but they are still rare. I assume you have a full plan though, and good luck! It sounds like it'll be great.

Just got my new daily today! EDIT: Took a couple pics in the driveway, which there isn't much room for anything special.

You will learn to hate the Bose system. I've been dealing with mine and all its endless problems for over 6 years now.

My mighty '93 2.2 Camry LE.

OMG-WHAT.gif

The '92-'96 Camry is regarded as the best Camry ever made. My dad had a '95 DX in that same color combo and wheel covers just like that. Yours looks to be just about mint, how many miles are on it?

Now you can out-accelerate everyone else because you know how to. :P

It has a little over 230K miles on it. Still runs like new. The interior is in very nice shape as well, especially for the mileage. I'll get some better pictures at some point.

I like the car but it's a pain in the ass when people try and drag you off the lights all the time. :P

This was taken a couple months ago, so it's got a few hundred more now...
