The smoke smell sticks around for a while, but eventually it fades. When I got my old Blazer it smelled like smoke and booze because the previous owner put about 40k miles worth of beer and smoke runs into it over 8 years, and they faded after a few months.

Also, it was about time for some spring cleaning. Here's the pre-bath messView attachment 542588 View attachment 542836
This was like 2 days after a wash, so I figured it was about time for a fresh coat of wax.

A good amount of polishing on my car, and a fresh coat of wax on her and my buddies Fusion and we decided to set up for some pictures to show off the shine.

Plenty of rub marks from some extremely sharp inclines in some extremely crap parking lot. Also road debris took a considerable toll on her bumper over the past couple years.

And now for Instagram filters.

Also, and this is unrelated to the cleaning, the rainbow gods have spoken. My car is destined for greatness.

Beautiful. I love how it's a BRZ rather than an FRS or GT86. The wheels really make this car.
I love both Subaru and Toyota so picking what car to get would be hard.

A wet track day at Watkins Glen...

Thank goodness for the garages!

At least the new pavement doesn't have all the rubber in it yet. Should have more wet weather grip than before.

Yeah, and it's a lot safer now without the concrete patches. But there are still places that water builds and comes cascading across the track in rivers after a hard downpour. But once it starts to dry, the grip is pretty impressive. I only got three laps in on my Toyos. On my S-04s, in the wet, I was running a pretty good pace.

I love my S-04s in the wet. I've never tracked my car but even on the street I can tell they have impressive wet performance. Unfortunately I missed opening weekend so I havent been on the new track yet.

The Subbie with be a ton better than an Intrepid for those Wisconsin winters, too!

'Grats on the new ride!

I'm hoping it will be, for sure, thank you! @Wolfe has his Subaru too, and it has served us well although it would be nice if they plowed before noon. :P

That's a Nissan?!

Holy crap. Why didn't they sell them in the U.S.?
When you look back into the JDM market for the 90s

you'll find a lot of desirable cars. Toyota Crown, Century, Chasers; Nissan Fuga, Cefiro, etc.
The Japanese likes to keep all of the goodies for themselves.

So cool! Even has tray tables like my LS400. What are your plans with it?

I dunno, it's my daily pretty much, but I do want to do stuff to it, new rims and such, would be a dream to get a Junction Produce kit for it, but that's a few grand away.
