That looks insanely rough. I absolutely love it.
That's quick for sure. Amir is a cool guy; he wrote the rules for Roadster Cup too.Car has quite the history in that series. used to be owned by amir and kristian (and the bmw instructor i bought it off of, i think youre on here sorry but i forgot your name.). i dont know much about its success other than it won the championship once in n2 and runs 1:2x`s at SoW
Siiiick. What wheels are those? Motegis?I almost always clean my car myself, but I was headed to cars and coffee near me and needed to get her looking good quick. This place had excellent reviews so I took her for a bath.View attachment 546560The wheel cleaning sprayer was pretty cool, too. I had pictures of her going through this long ass tunel, and sitting at cars and coffee, but I went and deleted most of them because I'm stupid and phones don't have a recycle bin.
You can see her behind the Porsches that parked beside me, though.View attachment 546561

Two things strike me here:
1. I'm amazed (and impressed) that the number stayed on. I would have expected it to blow off after the first session.
2. Your windows. And the fact that they're up. Just about every car club, track day sanctioning body that I know of here in the US (NASA, SCCA, PCA, BMWCCA, SCDA) mandates that the window be down while on track, both for signaling purposes and, more ominously, for emergency extraction.
And other countries mandate that windows stay closed or a max of 10-20% open, in case of a roll, so that your arms aren't crushed by the car
^Exactly that. It's a QR rule. Believe me I would have loved them down it gets bloody warm in there with no aircon! And other countries mandate that windows stay closed or a max of 10-20% open, in case of a roll, so that your arms aren't crushed by the car
