An engine brace, I'm running even more timing, and alcohol injection. Been too busy working on other people's cars to really do anything to my own lately, but sometime soon I'm swapping in a 5 speed manual. All I need is the clutch (4 puck solid hub), flywheel (9lb aluminum) and the inner hubs. It bolts right up with only minor clearancing issues (read: work with the air grinder).

After that, it's time for booooooooost.

It actually doesn't. Somehow, without the use of an LSD or equal length halfshafts, the 4T60-E tranny manages to not torque steer, except in the wet, where a full throttle takeoff results in a shift to second gear before the car actually moves forward. But it'll move to the right quite nicely before the gear change.

DOUBLE POST FOR THE WIN

Those're gonna look pretty attached to the end of a sheet metal plenum going into my intake manifold. Mmm, double the flow of stock.

Damn. I didn't realize you were such a big bastar....... good looking young man. 👍 Seriously though, is that a Civic-sized Caddy I didn't know they made, or are you a professional wrestler?

Kikie: Nice car. 👍 I'm REALLY digging the rims. 👍👍
speedy: I probably have commented on this before, but absolutely beautiful pictures as usual. 👍 Oh, yeah, car's nice too. :D

 You could fit a Civic inside the cabin, that's about the only thing Civic sized about that car.

Speedy, the car is sexy as always. Only problem with it, is it's got that darned Northstar. 4.9 > 4.6 :dopey:

Thanks man. But how does the old 4.9 beat the Northstar??

Especially for you a6m5: a picture of one of the rims (18 inch, 225/40 R18)

I'm more proud of the seats. Leather Recaro sport seats.
Anyone interested in this Mondeo. :)

While we're talking about seats...

This used to be my car, then I gave it to my Dad.

I'll post more pictures once somebody correctly guesses the Make and Model. :)

Wow. 18-inch rims and Recaro seats. Well done!

Porsche 928?
I think you are right. Passenger side from C-pillar to the back gives it away, I think. Really cool cars.

Actually, I have to confess to a small bit of insider knowledge on that one...

My car, the Mazda MX-3, was entirely designed with the Porsche 928 "in mind" [/euphemism for late 80s Japanese car design]. You'll notice that the shape of the front and rear seats - though the centre bolster isn't quite so high - is pretty much identical, not to mention the little cubby hole between the driver and passenger seats, the B-pillar, the A-pillar, the entire boot/trunk section (carries on for an hour).

As soon as I saw it and saw that it wasn't an MX-3, it could only be a 928... :D

Swapped cars with a friend of mine for 2 days.
This is my car at the moment. He's not allowed to drive mine but I'm allowed to drive his car. :) It's the 120d version with a chip tuning; ==> a little over 200 bhp and around 440 Nm of torque.
