I'm with you, I don't like chrome or highly polished parts around cars much, to me it makes the car look cheap, though chrome can/does look great on old cars.

Yea chrome does get old fast. It only looks good on certain cars to me, like my Trans Am I like the way the stock chrome rims look on it and plan to get chrome ones later because I think the stock ones are on the small side( 16 in. ). I want to get around 18 in rims that are similar to C6 rims but without vette badging.

got a new set of wheels for my car, by new i mean 2nd hand from a breakers yard. I trashed one of my old steel wheels and tyres needed replacing so i decided why not just get new wheels.

Thanks Master_Yoda. I got it just over a month ago and I'm loving it. It is just the WRX model although I guess I could've splurged a little and got the STi. But I don't think it's really necessary for someone that doesn't race as the WRX is still plenty fast for spirited driving.

Interesting kit, and whats this you say about being a limited edition?
Ive never heard of the Primera SMX, could you give us a little more info on it, you should know since you own one (i know im lazy )

Oh and M_Y They're much better than my old crappy steel wheels and feel smoother at higher speeds.

Just the other day coming back from Northampton i got caught by a speed camera doing about 80mph (i think, although i wasnt really looking at the speedo.)
Im waiting for the envelope to pop through my door any day now so i can pay the fixed fine and get 3 points on my liscence....Yay....

From now on my list of upgrades will be performance (handling mostly) based, might look into a Strut brace soon.

Congrats, Diego. Nice car. 👍 It does look like a Focus though, especially to North America. How do you like it, so far? Does it handle nice?

In fact, it does. I have to keep it in the high revs for it to respond nicely, since it's a 1.8 engine. But other than that it's nice. Low-rev torque is a non-concept for it.

My plans are to put some Focus ST (US-spec) exterior & interior parts and a few MKII Focus (Euro-spec) exterior parts as well. I really like the Euro thinner rear bumper with the 1 backup light in it. And I agree with you on the rims, that's the one thing I like that I might not change is my factory 16" rims. They look "sporty" and good enough to me.

[offtopic]Are there any European MKII Focus owners out there that can help me when I start upgrading on what parts will fit on my US-spec Focus? I emailed www.European-Parts.net and the guy was a bit rude and didn't really give me any info. He just said: "only the taillights will work" without even confirming anything I said about which parts I'd like for my car. That's rather vague...I'm going to assume the MKI and MKII Focus/Foci are the same chassis and the new Focus is the Mazda3 chassis. Maybe he doesn't understand that I plan on spending $1000's on my car in accessories and etc.
If you are a MKII Focus owner (preferably a 3dr or 5dr) and can help me please PM me. [/offtopic]
