I just painstakingly washed my car inch by inch and shined up dem rims and windows. And I'll have access to a digital camera in about 3 hours so high quality pics are upcoming (by tomorow). wewt!

[/mindless post just because]

Oh and that Porsche is sexy, I always liked those models. And you can get those things cheap used.

nothin wrong with an RS, though i do find it funny with your evo avatar heh

The thing is, my cousin handed down his 04 RS to me because he got an 06 STi. (DAMN B!TCH! haha)

AND an EVO is still my dream car. hahah

I washed her again today...so hopefully she's shining well enough for these higher res pics. Yay for stockness!

I actually had to reduce the size 50% just to get them to even fit in Photobucket without them auto resizing...

Thanks a6m5. Too bad there is almost zero aftermarket for the 2.0L Duratec. I'm pretty content in either paying off the car and getting something more fun or trading it in while I still have positive equity and getting something more fun. As of right now I have a positive equity of $1200~$1300, so if I traded it in I'd have $1200 or so $$$ to put towards something more fun.

Note: I would like something more fun, you notice that yet? Manual transmission, more than 4 cylinders, RWD, and 2 doors. 👍

wow, amazing photo! 👍

LOL @ the civic type r gearstick. that alone would make me not want to buy the car... looks like something out of a people carrier. like a fiat multipl:crazy: or something

that sounds like a RUBBISH engine. 200hp from a 5 litre V8??????? i hope they last for 10 million miles... what kind of gas mileage does it get?
Huh? The supra over here in scandinavia got a 3l Six syl straight with 205bhp! I dont like the V engines! To big for nothing!!

I have a couple of days off in a row now, i would have washed my car, but i sliced my finger pretty deep just yesterday, so it'd be awkward!
Ive also got 2 days off work next week though, so expect to see some pics of my car looking redder than it ever did! :)

MY CAR!! (ta..ta raaa!!!)

MAKE: NISSAN
MODEL: SENTRA 1.8 SPECIAL EDITION
-------------------------------------------

It's not the prettiest, nor the fastest....but its so cool! loads of features and I really enjoy it! But like I said, its not fast...and its not that AWESOME looking. Although I wish I had a focus like JCE3000GT, I really like those cars.

I like Focuses better too, but at least Special Editions are supposed to be the nicely equipped ones. 👍

Thanks for the compliment. Is that an 04 or 05 Sentra? And aren't the Special Editions the 2.5L? If you had the manual I would trade cars in an instant. I'm more a Nissan fan than Ford. I'd rather have another Sentra again versus this Focus. There just isn't very much after market for the FoFo (what I like to call the FOrd FOcus) when compared to anything made from Japan. You have a really good car that is alot nicer than people think, I'd be thankful you don't have a Civic. lol

You like a Ford product more than a Nissan product? :ill:

*edit*
Oh I forgot to mention I pained my grille black today. I detest chrome plastic trim...it looks cheap.

 I'm not a Nissan fanboy! Currently, I think I like Honda the best, but I really like all cars.

P.S. I agree with you on the chrome trim.

Yea its a 1.8, and its a 2005 Nissan Sentra, and I am happy with it, dont get me wrong. BUT...I drove this Focus once that was tuned up, not much but a bit, and it had some really great acceleration. But Im VERY happy with my sentra, the MPG is REALLY great and it did come with some extra perks.

> 6 CD Changer + 1 on top
> An Amp
> And a 10' Subwoofer
> and the stereo is a Rockford Fosgate.

.....so I may admire the focus,,and I like it deep at heart. But Im happy with my sentra. :D:sly:

I'd imagine you getting around 40mpg in that thing. If you don't mind me asking what'd you pay for it? And how many miles are on it? Oh, and nice stereo. 👍

And that's the ONE thing about the Ford Fusion that just drives me batty...is the chrome trim inside the tail lights, on the grille, and in the headlight.

I know, I hate it. I call Fusion grill a "Mach 3" grill. :D I noticed that those trims doesn't look too bad on white, or silver body colors.

FVracer13: Nice cars. 👍 Which one's your daily driver? :P

Here's my wife's and my own ride:

I'd drive the Toyota over the dodge. I've always liked the Tacoma, good solid medium pickup. And you picked a great color too. 👍 --> green

Thanks, man. I *LOVE* that 'Yota; it fits everywhere a Wrangler can and is more useful. As for the color, that was a bit of a blessing in itself. I love green trucks and this one fit perfectly. Now, on to the lift, tires, recovery gear.....

As for the Trep, I'd like to drop in a 7.0L Hemi and convert to RWD. Gotta love RWD. Unfortunately, tho, money's tight, and a 426 just isn't a good investment at a time like this :(

BTW, nice Focus you have up there. The black grille blends in with the paint pretty nicely. When ya converting to AWD? ;)

Love the sentras man, but I know what you mean about the 1.8. I ended up with the SE 2.0 loaded to the gills, even had a LSD. its a great little car, tight suspension, sunroof, side sill extensions, rear spoiler, 16" rims with 50 series rubber, its got the amp and 10" sub too, the only think I want to improve on is maybe a short shift kit. the 5 speed is a little on the '
ropey" side

Thanks, but I think I've pretty much decided to leave it stock. I'm also trying to work out something where I trade it in for a 95-99 Maxima and not have a car payment. I'm paying $480 per month in car payment and insurance...that can be reduced to just paying insurance which would be about $65 per month. But I doubt I'll be able to do the above...but I'm trying.

Yes a Sentra is FWD, but that doesn't mean it can't have a limited slip differential. I know the Spec-V's do.

What good is it?

Or its just that I need to go learn what LSD does...

A LSD allows the car's drive-wheels to travel at different speeds. All cars benefit from this because inside wheels rotate slower than the outside wheels when turning. No LSD makes cars more difficult to turn.

yeah LSD is a good way to go. Tip to anyone, don't have done to your car what my brother did...he has the diff. welded and created rediculous tire wear, so for even wear he and i would go slide it:)

luftrofl

Actually, a "locked differential" makes cars more difficult to turn, but you won't find one of those on any street-driven Sentra.

Most (all?) street cars without LSDs have open differentials, which are even more permissive than LSDs about letting the wheels travel at different speeds, and which do not contribute at all to making a car hard to turn. A car with an open differential may not want to accelerate much while turning, but turning shouldn't be a problem.

An LSD is a sort of hybrid of an open differential and a locker -- it acts like an open differential as long as both wheels are at about the same speed. As the speed difference increases, it behaves more and more like a locker.
