Some have names, such as Billy, Mikael and David, but most mean something in Swedish or are names of Swedish towns.

I'm pretty sure that Sultan (the umbrella-term for the mattress range, of which I am king) means comfort.

And how much is it pushing? A 3inch exhaust system it rather large for any car that isn't pushing at least 350-400whp.

This is my baby, 1987 Mercedes 300E nicknamed schnauzer , though I am trying to sell it I do love the car and I'm looking into several other mercedes from the era. The silver car is my girlfriends '78 300D nicknamed frankenbenz because it actually has the motor from a 240D...

nicknaming cars is great.

A friend of mine used to own an old Merc G-wagon, we called it the Panzer. And I sometimes call my Mondeo the Mothership... compared to most cars in Europe, it's huge.

Only car I ever nicknamed was my first, Max. It was a '85 Nissan Maxima. I haven't nicknamed my cars, since(none stuck, anyway). Sometimes, I called my cars, "You piece of.....", nevermind.

Nicknames seem to happen a lot with Mercedes... all the ones that people I know own have nicknames of some sort, most are German names. If you go to the link in my sig you'll see that most people there will have the cars they own/ed in their sig followed usually by the nickname.

will it could be understandable about naming your car because

1. you cherish your car ALOT. and you cherish your girlfriend
2. depending on what you have, both relationships can be just orgasmic
3. your probably spending as much money on your car as your girlfriend.

If your very into cars and have a car that you like, than you and your car are unbreakable and you will find yourself going out of your way for the safety of your car. ( like parking in the back of a parking lot to make sure noone will ding your door )

I tend to look at it more as a friend like a dog or something, sometimes we get along fine but every once in a while it will do something to get in trouble (like peeing transmission fluid in the driveway). I usually just roll up a newspaper and smack the car on the grill, I also try not to park them next to each other to avoid any conspiring against me and my girl

Heheh, animal abuse! I'm an understanding boyfriend. When 'she' has a problem, I let 'her' sit for a while while I try to understand 'her' better and work things out. It's worth it, though. 'She' puts out. BTW, is there a size limit to pictures we post? I've had people on other forums get pissed, but I always figured, if it's a picture thread, 56K has no business in it anyways.
