i did all my max speed tests WITHOUT nos WITHOUT changing the suspension/driving aids etc... and most importantly WITHOUT doing wheelies

can you REALLY reach 380mph WITHOUT nos and doing wheelies? if u can plz show me a pic of u driving the car with 4 WHEELS ON THE GROUND and NO NOS BAR and going at least 350 mph

I got the GT-one to go 353 without a wheelie...

Sorry, I dont have a digital camera so I cant post pics but there are many listings with settings throughout this thread that show those speeds have been done without wheelies.

I got the GT-one to go 360.xx without a wheelie (with NOS) and 352.xx (without NOS)... so there you go.

Hmmm your speeds without a wheelie is the same as mine with one, why ain't I getting the extra 20mph with the wheelie?

I dont know the settings, theyre not even mine. I used someone elses earlier in the thread. I flipped through these pages and saw someone saying they could get that speed without a wheelie, so I tried it out and it worked...

Maybe Im mistaken, but I have it saved under my GT-One settings as setting B, so Ill go try it in a minute and reconfirm.

edit: oops, i fudged the #s before!

I do the wheelie and all but still only reach 360 mph, when i get home I am going to do this all night until i get 380 mph...
 
My B, it had been a while so I highballed it. The 380's made me think the other one was faster.

With NOS, I just did a 353.45 without a wheelie.
I just tried it without NOS and got a lot lower than I remembered... I must have not done it without NOS before... oh well.

Anyways, no one said NOS was cheating. Wheelies however ;)
Gotta let that slide in my opinion. No one complains about 4'59 at the ring being unrealistic, I guess this shouldnt be different.
 
THere is no such thing as sheating, the thread is Top Speed, not Top speed with 4 wheels on the ground.

Were having fun seing how fast we can push the cars.

So far my set up is the fastest, I sick Times with 4 wheels on the ground, but 2 wheels is faster.

I want to go Faster.

But for some reason rac3rx's setup is not working for me, not sure why but i'll work on it.

And Rac3rx it's not that I don't believe you it's just I want to see it for my own eyes to be sure it is defiently true.

The PAL version being different is not true and that so called bug is not true either, I will try find the link to show that I was not making it up. I removed all my Internet cache so it is not easy. I have a program to clean my hard drive just before I get up so I didn;t do it on purpose.

Will keep ya all posted.

On a small note, for the people upset that she gets on 2 wheels, the people who think that is cheating.

Ever once in your life seen a drag race before, what would happen if they disqualified every car that got on 2 wheels?

Toses rules are not in place for wheelies (There is nothing saying they are not allowed, specifically) they are there to insure you dont win the time trial by taking a short cut.

But beleve you me, there is nowhere in the Test Corse that you can take a short cut, So the rule is irelevant in this Track (there is no way to aply it)

I also got one of the playstation race cars to do wheelies to 355mph (im trying to get a second car to 380mph.) :indiff:
 
On Test Track in the Minolta I got to 340-ish, and I haven't played with the final gear yet. I used NOS. The wheelie is so fakey; in real life the car would have flipped over. It's sort of funny to watch, though.
 
i managed 251mph in my stock gillet vertigo without any mods or nos. was wheel spinning upto 4th with my final gear set at max! this is an unbelieveable car, with an incredible 0.826 power-to-weight ratio. i noticed a bug in the game though. on the settings screen it shows 946bhp, but on the replay, it show 888bhp, and in the garage it shows it shows 946bhp. either way, its insane! couldnt keep it on the road at circuit de la sarte - it was almost taking off on the mulsanne straight!
 
I didn't think wheelies were possible on gt4. Of course I've never tried to do one but it doesn't seem so realistic to do a wheelie and go 1,000 mph like you could in gt3. I've only really max speed tested once to the tune of about 280 mph. I prefer to accelerate. I find it boring to just sit there at 280 going around a corner. In-race (other than at test course) I have broken 250 mph, but that was just to be sure it was possible.
 
i pulled 240 on the 'ring in the mecedes AMG CLK GTR (i hate the 3 3 letter words in a row....lol).....i think i got to 260 or so in the C60.......and i got to mach 2.3 in my MiG-21................wait.....wrong forum.....

382.11 GTone, doing a wheelie.

Yall Know me and yall know its true. Rac3rX the settings are at www.gt4tuneshop.com the site is down for repairs but should be back up soon.

I got pics and all on the site, and shaneomook, pulled a 382.68 with my settings too.
 
I got 321mph in my TVR Speed 12, fully tuned in 2 player battle with ALL 4 WHEELS ON THE GROUND. :grumpy: More is achievable with more time. :) btw, whats th most powerful cars any1s come accros?
