Any car 700pp can easily win it. It's easier with a car that gets 3 laps on fuel. One less pit stop. No big deal, though.
Thanks guys, I used the Mazda 3 with the 3 rotor Le Mans engine and it was easy. I also went with WETS when the rains came and lapped half the field. I noticed Portilla was still the same old dummy from before as he stopped in the rain for fuel and tires but stayed with Race Hard in the downpour? I guess the A.I. are not allowed any learning for competitors?

What difficulty setting are you using? Try using hard difficulty and see if that helps out.

I think I'm on normal difficulty. I forgot there were any choices. Are you saying it would be easier on hard difficulty?
I'm not having any difficulty anyway, LeMans is mostly about strategy IMHO.

Easier on hard difficulty lol I meant try adjusting the difficulty and see if the AI react differently or provide more of a strategic challenge. I haven’t noticed the AI behaving that way and I also haven’t raced on normal so I thought maybe that might be the issue. 🍻

There seems to be a pretty good consensus that the global difficulty in the settings (beginner/intermediate/professional I think?) is BACKWARDS for the missions, at least all the Human Comedy missions. So if you go into the main settings where you can set the general opponent difficulty, set it to the hardest of the 3 while you're doing those missions.

If you're doing the regular events like WTC700 then there's no such issue. But yeah, check the options from your top-left icon in the world map thing.

OK, thanks guys, if I run into any problems I will check the difficulty settings and presume they are setup backwards.
My biggest problem so far has been all the bells and whistles on my old G-29 wheel, trying to figure out how to turn down the fuel, then switch to weather radar. That stuff took me a couple of Lemans races to figure out. That, and my 81 year old brain of course,LOL!

Oh I hear you. I still mess up on occasion when I have to rotate that little red wheel trying to adjust fuel maps, zoom out the weather.

Has this been nerfed? I literally can't get thru a single lap without having to change tires...

Are you using im's?

These now wear out very quickly on dry circuits.

Otherwise, no, they shouldn't wear out that quickly mate, maybe they do if using extreme suspension settings, but even then.

Running LeMans, I have found Wets will wear the fastest when it starts to dry out, so I switch to IMs and run them until dryout is fairly complete, IMs wear better than Wets. Remember to run the car way over on the side of the track when running any kind of wet tires to keep from wearing too fast, while the track is drying.

Yeah, good points. Tbh I never use wets.

Believe school of thought is to use wets if bar goes into top segment... iirc.

Le man's rarely does that. And if it does, it's very brief, in scheme of things. I can't recall last time I've used wets. Over a year ago.

And I've probably only used them 2 or 3 times, since game released.

Obviously I've used im 's fair amount. But tbh I don't enjoy racing on wet tracks at all. So pretty much avoid it now, unless one of the weekly races has rain/wet track.

Tgat said, I do enjoy the spa 1 hour race though . Immersion of being cocooned in down tuned group 1 or 2 car (yeah I know, but I like to guarentee the win... on easy level. Particularly given some cars a very poor in wet...).

In vr2 with decent wheel and headphones, it's sublime experience. You agaunst the elements/darkness. Isolated in your car.

Well said, agree on all points. You’re right on the money with that last sentence. 🥂

At Le Mans, I use wets whenever the weather radar shows two or more colours. Then, when the radar is clear and the track is drying, I am so far ahead I can usually stop for IMs for couple of laps to finish on. The car Ive been using lately is the S-13 Silvia with 1057 Hp on rear wheel drive, so when it's wet, I go with Wets!

I love the 787B at the Spa one hour race also. There is nothing as exciting as driving a fast car in the dark, in the rain!

Now my bank account is up over 100 million!?! I suppose I will have to spend it on useless cars in the new booklets! Why do we have to have so many stupid cars??

:grumpy::):lol::lol::lol::lol:
We got a PlayStation 1 for Christmas from a good friend of my father in 1998 I think. This picture shows my father playing Gran Turismo 1 on the PS1, me and my brother angrily wanting to play too.
Wow, man, how cool to finally see a photo of the legend!

It's really admirable to see Brazilians honoring our country and dedicating so much time and care to the work here.

I'm not using Portuguese because I think it's forbidden to speak anything other than English here, or at least I've gotten used to it on other forums like this.

Is there a chance I could follow you on Gran Turismo 7? I'd like to support you.

AND FOR WHO WANTS OR IS THINKING ABOUT SUBSCRIBEING TO PATREON:

Unfortunately, I'm finishing my college degree and working to pay for it at the same time, so I'm no longer a subscriber, but I was a supporter for 3 months and I have to say that there are'nt any doubts about the quality of Praiano63's Patreon, it's the best and most complete we have for the game.

It's not something done by someone without knowledge, it's literally the opposite:

There's a lot of study involved in each tune and the care with each one is remarkable. Anyone who is attentive and passionate about motorsports can see the intention they had by observing the behavior of the configured vehicle.

Abraços, de um compatriota fã!

So I followed everything Praiano63 did for the tranny trick and every time iset 1st gear it raises from 2.118 to 5.053 when I set the final gear from 5.000 down to 2.010 Idont know what im doing wrong

Make sure you're matching the value in "Top Speed (Automatically Adjusted)" BEFORE entering the pop-up where you adjust individual gears. Then adjust the final gear. Then start at 1st and go down.

Hi, I'm new here and just to gt7. I actually don't have any idea of how to tune a car. I just copy the tuning from the internet in any car. I'm planning to subscribe to Praiano's Patreon on tuning cars. is it updated to the latest gt7 update? the 1.52? thank you.

Yes it is. Contains over 350 tunes from 1.49 to 1.52. New tunes are posted daily.

Yes it is superb. Churning out more tunes than ever. Covering wide array of vehicles across pp ranges.

Well worth small outlay imo.

That focus is a nippy tune, thanks and well done!!

Only advice I'd give is mention whether the cars are wide body/ wheel size/ custom parts etc. Other than that great job!

Just seen the thread update - paying for tunes? Really? What's the cost supposed to cover, virtual fuel bills?

How do you deem a few replicable clicks chargeable, it's not like a 3D model that is actually your work.
If your time is also not worth anything read back through all the pages in the post. First, you'll find all your answers.

Second, you'll see that all the time he puts in is worth 5 dollars a month, what do you spend on coffee/ soda/ candy/ whatever indulgence you are into.

I, and I'm sure others, have improved hugely because of the tunes/ advice here so consider it a coaching fee but much cheaper.

Alternatively, go start a new thread somewhere else so you can keep whinging with all the others who need their diaper changed, everyone is sick of it.

You could call it the Smoothbrain Social Club

There is no need for insults.

Most people just want to drive, and don't have the time/inclination to learn how to tune and set cars. Its a no-brainer investment for anyone who is in this category.

The tiny monthly cost covers the 40+ hours per week that Praiano spends testing, tuning, tweaking and publishing tunes so that we all get the most enjoyment out of our sim racing hobby.

You are a real lesson giver with your 7 messages! If you can afford a subscription, good for you, but don't devalue a member who doesn't agree on the principle of payment. In addition, it's been 1 month since Praiano's made the slightest response here in his dedicated message and he no longer offers anything.

So, for you, it is normal that his Paypal link in his 1st message is still there, allowing him to earn even more money in addition to his Patreon site? So it's up to you to go elsewhere or create your own dedicated message, because you are indeed a polluter, someone who answers for nothing.
