Any car 700pp can easily win it. It's easier with a car that gets 3 laps on fuel. One less pit stop. No big deal, though. What car wold you suggest?
Thanks guys, I used the Mazda 3 with the 3 rotor Le Mans engine and it was easy. I also went with WETS when the rains came and lapped half the field. I noticed Portilla was still the same old dummy from before as he stopped in the rain for fuel and tires but stayed with Race Hard in the downpour? I guess the A.I. are not allowed any learning for competitors?Any car 700pp can easily win it. It's easier with a car that gets 3 laps on fuel. One less pit stop. No big deal, though.
What difficulty setting are you using? Try using hard difficulty and see if that helps out. Thanks guys, I used the Mazda 3 with the 3 rotor Le Mans engine and it was easy. I think I'm on normal difficulty. I forgot there were any choices. Are you saying it would be easier on hard difficulty? What difficulty setting are you using? Try using hard difficulty and see if that helps out.
Easier on hard difficulty lol I meant try adjusting the difficulty and see if the AI react differently or provide more of a strategic challenge. I haven’t noticed the AI behaving that way and I also haven’t raced on normal so I thought maybe that might be the issue. 🍻I think I'm on normal difficulty. I forgot there were any choices. I'm not having any difficulty anyway, LeMans is mostly about strategy IMHO.
OK, thanks guys, if I run into any problems I will check the difficulty settings and presume they are setup backwards. There seems to be a pretty good consensus that the global difficulty in the settings (beginner/intermediate/professional I think?) is BACKWARDS for the missions, at least all the Human Comedy missions. So if you go into the main settings where you can set the general opponent difficulty, set it to the hardest of the 3 while you're doing those missions.
If you're doing the regular events like WTC700 then there's no such issue. But yeah, check the options from your top-left icon in the world map thing.
Oh I hear you. I still mess up on occasion when I have to rotate that little red wheel trying to adjust fuel maps, zoom out the weather.OK, thanks guys, if I run into any problems I will check the difficulty settings and presume they are setup backwards.
My biggest problem so far has been all the bells and whistles on my old G-29 wheel, trying to figure out how to turn down the fuel, then switch to weather radar. That stuff took me a couple of Lemans races to figure out. That, and my 81 year old brain of course,LOL!
Has this been nerfed? I literally can't get thru a single lap without having to change tires...
Running LeMans, I have found Wets will wear the fastest when it starts to dry out, so I switch to IMs and run them until dryout is fairly complete, IMs wear better than Wets. Remember to run the car way over on the side of the track when running any kind of wet tires to keep from wearing too fast, while the track is drying. Are you using im's?
These now wear out very quickly on dry circuits.
Otherwise, no, they shouldn't wear out that quickly mate, maybe they do if using extreme suspension settings, but even then.

Well said, agree on all points. You’re right on the money with that last sentence. 🥂Yeah, good points. Tbh I never use wets.
Believe school of thought is to use wets if bar goes into top segment... iirc.
Le man's rarely does that. And if it does, it's very brief, in scheme of things. I can't recall last time I've used wets. Over a year ago.
And I've probably only used them 2 or 3 times, since game released.
Obviously I've used im 's fair amount. But tbh
In vr2 with decent wheel and headphones, it's sublime experience. You agaunst the elements/darkness. Isolated in your car.
At Le Mans, I use wets whenever the weather radar shows two or more colours. Then, when the radar is clear and the track is drying, I am so far ahead I can usually stop for IMs for couple of laps to finish on. The car Ive been using lately is the S-13 Silvia with 1057 Hp on rear wheel drive, so when it's wet, I go with Wets!Well said, agree on all points. Now my bank account is up over 100 million!?! I suppose I will have to spend it on useless cars in the new booklets! Why do we have to have so many stupid cars??At Le Mans, I use wets whenever the weather radar shows two or more colours. I love the 787B at the Spa one hour race also. There is nothing as exciting as driving a fast car in the dark, in the rain!
