Need to have exactly the same parts and modifications writen on the tune sheet. If not , it's not a problem, you can spread the gears visually on the setting panel.
For this follow my method at this link.

My tune is engine 1 and turbo 3, need to be exactly as the part list show, if not ratios will not match. But following my method you'll have the same result.

What if I told you I used your trans tuning tips for my NASCAR... top speed ~254mph then 1st @0, 2nd@ 2.5, 3rd@7.5, 4th@ 10. Indy track and I can't see anyone (b-spec) at lap 10, they are a full 2 corners behind (180 degrees, not a full track)...

I don't think the gears are the principal reason for this better performance but it must help for sure. This ratios allow the car to work in a shorter power band.

Good it work well for you and congrats for your tune also.

Did some testing of the HKS, took online to Deep Forest because your original was about perfect at Nurb. Updated tune seems to turn in by itself, but under control. Ran with race hard tires all around at first, rear oversteers with low gear throttle and excessively on decel. So if using hard rear would increase decel to 10 and/or lower rear brake bias to 6, maybe 5. However, race softs on rear alleviated these issues for the most part. Still couldn't use softs on front because of excessive tire wear, left on race hards and lowered torque split to 10/90. Now tires wear evenly, also resulting in some extra laps and a best time. Tested original also; but this updated tune does better on smaller, tighter tracks. I'm going to test more of both for the front tire wear problems to try and get so race softs can be put on and/or so the split can be raised back up. Thinking maybe lowering front initial to 5 and raising accel 50-60. Also, maybe raise rear initial to like 15 and then start dropping accel to try and get rears to wear a little sooner to try and balance. Of course on a regular race w/o wear these tunes are both excellent! Oh, and what is Touge-pilot car? Idk...lol

Thanks a lot for this detailed review. I will try to do something to correct all the little things you're reporting. It's not easy without a PS3. This is the first time i'm trying to do this, since now the only tuner i know who can do this is Rotary Junky from RKM. For me, he always will be my professor, i learned from him since a long time. Not easy but i'll try.

My touge "pilot cars" for me are not the faster like the S2000 R1 TITAN or Lotus Evora, but i love to drive the RGT and the BMW CSL of my touge car session,500PP sport hard.

You must also have a look in the shootout we made a few months ago. There is some great cars also.https://www.gtplanet.net/forum/showthread.php?p=5965066#post5965066
The ones i prefer are
1 NSX :
VTiRoj / RKM Motorsport
Honda NSX Type R ‘02

1 lotus evora
Rotary Junkie / RKM Motorsport
Lotus Evora '09

and for me the perfect pilot car
krenkme / Clueless tunes
Lotus Elise 111R '04

I still don't know my friend, the season of the Red snapper goes till december , after this 4 months very cool at home most of the time. For the moment i spend my days in hotels between the harbor and the processing plants. Very hard to organize first, but i hope in a couple of months i'll be able to rent a place with a net connection. After i just have to ask my kids to send me the cockpit wheel and PS3 (1500 km away from here.:indiff::indiff:). Just a question of time.

I plan also to present video tunes ,with a new capture device that a friend from Malasia sent to me, after i've made some winning tunes for him.

Till there i have to work hard to feed my kids. :) :) Patience is the key to paradise. :):)

Good night everybody.

No i did not. This is one of the car i would like to come back on and try something new on it, like ballast for example, good idea. Always some space to do a better tune . On the list for the next tunes, don't know when.

Just a quck question. The tuning suspension tips you have. Is that guide in any particular order? Like, would you start at the top first and then work your way down?

It's not a guide, just a reference to know what setting do what on a car. After , everybody can follow his own procedure to tune a car. I don't have myself any method , i don't follow any rules or order, after spending so much time doing this , you don't think anymore about what to do, just feel and do it.

I think that feel is my issue. Feels like everything I driver understeers  But because you have so many tunes for so many cars, I can come here and check how far off I really am. I love all your tunes. Dont think there is one I tried and didnt like. 👍

Hello Praiano. Because we do not teach to configure cars, steps to follow, where you start. Thank you.

Sorry , no rules for me or step by step. Just put your force feed back on and try to feel the correction you make on your car. Chose a track you know perfectly and drive hours and hours till you'll find the vain.
Good luck.

Hey Praino, can you tell me which SRT4 tuning is better? The Ring Master or The Yellow SRT4?
The ring master is just a crazy offline Nurburgring time atack machine. The Yellow SRT4 is better balanced for all track and is ONLINE OK.

BMW M3 CSL '03 // 500pp // Sport hard tires
...review.

Tested on update 2.07 offline, sixaxis controller, grip reduction real, aids off (except ABS 1)

STOCK
Grand Valley East 1:10.5

Wonderfully balanced and playful. Gives the driver complete freedom to be sensible or slidey. The only possible criticism is sometimes you need to wait a bit extra for the chassis to settle before getting on the throttle. It is going to be very hard to raise the bar from here!

PARTS ONLY (default settings, except LSD 5/5/5)
Grand Valley East 1:10.1
Trial Mountain 1:37.1

At Grand Valley, it was very similar to stock, as expected. But this time the oversteer is caused by the chassis' balance rather than the six cylinders. Better traction in slow corners than stock.

Trial Mountain was thrown into the mix for its relatively few tight 2nd gear corners and to see how the suspension would cope with a bumpy surface. This track, however, brought out a devilish oversteer trait, especially in the first half of the corner. Smokey antics ensued, but eventually I restrained myself enough to put in a relatively straight lap or two, in order to get a time for comparison. Even without lowering, the suspension was bottoming out a bit- not at any places where it hurt the lap time, but it's something to keep an eye on, considering Praiano's tune is very low at the front.

PRAIANO'S TUNE
Grand Valley East 1:10.2
Trial Mountain 1:36.0

The slightly stiffer suspension is a good balance between compliance and responsiveness at Grand Valley. However, as the lap times show, the default settings suited my driving style a fraction better. The driver needs to be very careful about how much steering lock is applied when reaching for the "loud pedal", since it is very easy to arc the rear around under power. This meant I had to compromise my lines to ensure that the front wheels were straightened as early as possible after the apex. Gearing is very good, and it feels nice front entry to apex.

At Trial Mountain, this tune was hard work! The bumpy track threw the car around and unfortunately the 2nd gear power oversteer from Grand Valley reared its head at Trial even in 3rd gear. So nailing a fast lap was a case of picking a careful line through the bumps and provoking juuuust the right amount of power oversteer to slide out of the corner. Quite a fine line to walk (ok...drive!). It also has even more oversteer on corner entry than default settings, but this can be mostly negated by coasting through in a higher gear. On the plus side, it didn't bottom out much more despite the lowering. And a 1.1 second faster lap is a big improvement.

With such a good stock setup, improving a CSL is a big ask for a tuner. Good choice of parts to get to 500PPb:tup:. I found Praiano's tune to be a tricky tune, however expert drivers may enjoy the challenge of extracting the most speed possible out of it.

Thanks my friend for the review. I can't expect something else from this car on any medium fast or fast track, with long turns where fast driving line is the most important thing.
This is a touge car, made to be driven on straight roads like toscana or any similar custom touge track with a lot of tights turns .
For this kind of events, the car must be very responsive, you must be able to correct your driving line during a battle to defend your position or attack your oponent, braking late , drifting, been very sharp with a car that need also to be safe to avoid mistakes.
Low to medium speed and tight turn succession during a hard battle. This is the only purpose of this tune. It's tricky to drive ? yes, a little for sure. But after some weeks driving and racing touge cars , i improve a lot my driving in this game. For this reason, i can say anybody that want to progress and have better driving skills to practice touge racing.
Above all, it's very exciting and fun.

Thanks again, have a good day.

This car is 5’35” / nurburgring Racing soft tires, not a great top speed but a very good grip ,stick and power slide all curves, very unique and good sensation all around 4WD car. Fully tuned with no chassis reinforcement.

The 1050 hp are very high and there is nothing under 6500 rpm. Shift at 8000 /8100 rpm. Turbo 1 and 2 have the same powerband (strange) and don’t allow to spread all this power . So , full gas, deguello.

Hello my friend. No hollydays but summer all year long for me. No new tune since the Mitsu FTO.
I will never do an Enzo FXX and i think that is imposible to do so in GT5. The FXX have more power ( not a problem), ceramic brakes by Brembo , and Ferrari increases downforce by more than 40 percent over the standard Enzo.
Just need to wait for a DLC with it , if not, all the tuner's replica will only have the name.
