The Album icon is new too.
Obviously relates to Photomode.
The only thing that makes me a little sceptical is that date on the calendar.
But I agree looks like we may be able to launch into Home and create a private race from there.

@Gaz Vonhammer:
look at the pictures´ dates on the my page calendar...thats pre-TGS when they announced the idea of embedding the home functions let alone when home will finally be released.

It's about time I speak up. I've never really liked the F40, but I never said it was an ugly car. Damn it to Hell, man... that F40 looks bloody amazing! I can already imagine racing in a proper Supercar Challenge in GT5 with this machine. I'm more used to the F50 because it was the car that I've lusted in my time getting into cars. I've been more fond of that car than the F40. The F40 in these pictures are amazing. * I got a glimpse of the well-loved 512 BB. I would have went with an all-red look, rather than red mixed with black. I've never liked retractable headlights. Having said all of this, it is still a great Ferrari. Truly a classic Ferrari. I'm sure Ferrari fans (like myself) will be more than happy to see a nice classic Ferrari. * I've loved the F430 since first seeing it in pictures. I already want the F430 to be my ultimate track car. If Risi Competizione's F430 won't be included, then I can imagine being my own (Houston's and Texas' own) Risi Competizione racing a nicely-tuned F430. I would recommend that if there's a one-make race of the Ferrari F430, Ferrari 360 Modena (likely), or the past Ferrari 355 F1's; I'd look into finding some of the Ferrari Challenge cars or tune them up to be Ferrari Challenge cars. I almost immediately think Ferrari Challenge with the beautiful Ferrari F430 and the lovely Ferrari 360 Modena.

Because Ferrari isn't the only manufacturer in GT5P, let me talk about some of the other cars. * The Aston Martin DB9 Coupe looks ultra sexy. My thing is, I almost always choose British Racing Green with Aston Martins. If not British Racing Green, then at least some other rich, dark green color. I do like the Midnight Blue. I can already imagine my Aston Martin beast of a race car looking at this baby. * One of the pictures I was loading from the gamersyde link from Post #2,855 looked pretty nice. I thought it was a Lamborghini Gallardo at first (like, how did PD lock up Lamborghini?). But, it's the radical Nissan GT-R. I'd still love to race that car in ANY game. * Because of past pictures I've saved to my computer, some of the newer pictures may overwrite my previous pictures because of the name. So I had to edit the file name to reflect what Gamersyde pictures I've saved to avoid conflict.

The look for High Speed Ring is really amazing. Whatever modifications have been done to its looks, I'm sure it will still be an amazing track to race on as it always has been. It should still be a great experience. I know the crew at PD were talking about that GT5 will be released in 2009. Most people think there's a credibility problem with PD in regards to releasing GT games on time than later. I'm not sure 2009 seems completely reasonable if they are just trying to cram in as much content as possible. Maybe 2010 or even 2011 seems more reasonable. I still will be waiting to play the game no matter what the time.

I thought the date was strange, considering all the new pics have march the 3rd on them.
I just hope it's not long until that option is available.

^ ^

I think that screen shots are from TGS could be wrong though. I know HOME is some way off so I don't think it's ready to be added into the game yet.

Photomode guys aren't commenting on the TWO cars in that square shot. That might have lots of new possibilities.

Any pictures of the Ford GT in the garage or it's cockpit?
Not from what I see. It'll definately be in the game judging form this split-screen 2 player screenshot:

I'm soo happy they chose the F40 over the F50. That thing must have been styled by 'Miami Vice'fans. Nice running gear but Ferrari what were you thinking?

Who said PD chose 1 or the other? PD could be intending on releasing the F50 and the Enzo for all we know.

I'd rather have both :P
I actually am one of the few who love the styling of the F50. All thanks to NFS2 over 11 years ago. Also the fact that back in 1997 I saw one of only 3 F50 GT's at the SF International Auto Show. That is a sight I will never forget...
I also made my own 3d model of a F50 :sly:

i need advice, should i cancel my pre order of gt5p and just dwnload it from psn store. that way i dont need to keep swapping discs. if only you could fully install the game from disc to hardrive. how many of you guys are going to dwnload instead of buying from a store for that reason?

You must really hate Miami vice. I honestly don't get why some hate the F50. I really don't see how its not so good looking. Maybe Its just me, but I honestly think it looks great.

Depends where you pre ordered it from. As that can be cheaper than PSN.
As for swapping disc you gotta get out of your chair sometimes you know :).
And you'll miss the Beyond the Apex video which is only going to be available on the disc version.

But ultimately the choice is yours.

Just to move away from THE FERRARI'S  if i dare.

I'm looking forward to the time trial round HSR

Is it just me or does the Skyline's dials look more realistic in that shot? In the demo, the skyline's dials looked as if they were illuminated. They certrainly don't look illuminated in that shot

Mus be a real life picture, that cant be a video game Man.

These screens are making me want an HDTV more than ever! Damn lack of money (and time to play videogames for that matter :( )

I'm usually in the minority of a lot of things on GTPlanet. I've loved the F50, and wouldn't be surprised if both the F40 and F50 are eventually in GT5. If you don't like the F50, then you MIGHT like the Ferrari F50 GT < http://www.ultimatecarpage.com/car/592/Ferrari-F50-GT.html >. This car would, after all, be the basis for my all-time favorite race car- the Ferrari 333SP. I don't watch Miami Vice (nor am I an '80s fanatic because I am SURELY not an '80s fanatic, though born in 1983), so I'm not knowledgeable about what you mean with the "Miami Vice" reference. Only similarity is in the white Testarossa (which I'd love to see in GT5. Just make mine in Rosso Ferrari, and I'll do the rest). I don't want to make this a Ferrari debate, so I'll end it here.

We can only imagine what this will be like once it drops in the United States. I hope to play this at a store that has a working PS3 kiosk. I'll need to see how much more different this is compared to GTHD and GT4. Hearing stuff about different driving modes and such has me curious. I'd even love to race my beloved Ferrari F430. That's going to be my premiere track car when GT5 comes out. Unless, there are some more hot cars that I can call my premier track car.

the deal that PD made with Ferrari is pretty huge. i don't think they would get that just to have 3 or 4 models. expect to see all famous Ferraris in GT5 (testarossa, F50, enzo, 348, 355, 456, 360 and so on) i expect at least 15 models.

i keep seeing pics, hearing information, and i'm still concerned that we are yet to see a racing car. i thought this update would include some - but still no luck - so i hope by the time E3 comes around they can have something. at least the xanavi 350z and the lexus race car that we already heard about

I can predict that both racing cars and private lobby races are something we'll witness not before the full-game.

And as Ferrari is concerned, F355 Challenge standalone would make my all dreams come true.
