You may as well say they should hide away from public view until after their baby is born. There are much worse fashion atrocities out there worn by non pregnant people that should show some consideration to the rest of us. I hope you aren't one of these young lads that insist on wearing your pants halfway down your ass with your underwear showing.
Pregnant women are beautiful and should wear whatever they like just like anyone else.

Probably because, unlike obese folks, pregnant women change nothing in their appearance but their belly (which just gets round, not wrinkled), so they still look very attractive. I could think of 2, but they're both celebrities.

I found Angelina Jolie MAD sexy while she was pregnant. And I'm not, like, a father or anything. I think Christina Aguilera's pretty hot too (she's preggers).

Apparently women get that Pregant glow or something, like there skin improves or something so they look even better than normal.. Maybe thats why people find them attractive..

I wouldn't know, honestly. I just know that some women, even when they're pregnant, still look very attractive.

If she literally had her stomach exposed then yes, that's a bit much. However I find nothing wrong at all with a pregnant woman wearing a tight fitting shirt that's tight around the stomach. I mean, unless they wear some shirt out of a rap video, it's bound to be sort of tight.

I find some pregnant women to look sexy as hell. If they were fat before the pregnancy then chances are I don't think that. I personally find my wife, who's 8 months pregnant, very attractive. Of course I always do, but this is our second baby, and sometimes I think she looks even better with that huge stomach poking out...


It's weird. Someday you may understand, or you might have some fat preggo wife and think to yourself, "that Josh was a dumbass."

I see nothing wrong with pregnant women showing their belly, it's pretty common here. Some are even sexy.

I would venture to guess that when a woman is pregnant, style tends to become pretty much moot, as do the opinions of passerby who have nothing to do with her life.

Nasty? Maybe to some ... important? I'd think not.

This brings up a fair question - why is it that the human body is such a shameful thing that it demands to be completely covered all the time? We scream bloody murder about Arabic cultures demanding complete obfuscation of all but a woman's eyes, but cling to our own standards of "decency" just as fiercely.

Pregnancy, all physical side effects aside, is one of the most beautiful aspects of humanity and when not flaunted in an abjectly lewd or lascivious manner, doesn't seem to deserve to be hidden if the woman choses not to.

I felt very unsexy when I was pregnant and put on a huge amount of weight!
I wore baggy clothes all the way through (many people couldn't actually tell I was pregnant until I hit 6 months) and I did feel exactly like a beached whale.

If a woman feels sexy and wants to carry on showing off her body whilst pregnant then I say let her. Although there is a difference between looking sexy and looking trashy.

And when you're pregnant, I think that has a lot to do with how much skin you're showing. There are great looking clothes out there for pregnant women that fit. Most women would prefer not to spend money on them, so they either wear sweats, or they wear their old clothes. It's their old clothes that I have a problem with. If you want to look great while pregnant, it's not necessarily going to be the cheapest route.

Amen to that! That is definately one thing that I do not find attractive in guys at all. I do not see how they think it is 'fashionable' and why they think the girls will like it, (I know some will like it, but thats not the point)and its mainly the younger ones (early-late teens)that do like it, I'm only 21 myself, but seriously.....buy some pants that fit you properly or at least buy a belt... we do not need to see what type and colour of underwear you are wearing (...and I'm glad that my man wears his pants properly)[/rant]

Yup, I agree with that, although never having been pregnant myself, I still think they can look attractive, but there is still a line that gets crossed, and some just look trashy...

That "look" actually started with American gang members in the ghettos of LA.

After stints in jail, where commonly their pants would not fit and therefore sag, they would get back on the streets and it would be a visual cue that they had in fact been in jail.

Inevitably, the rap stars that had been in jail and were actual gang members would come to influence many a pathetic teen into gangstaism.

shirts for the second half. But exposing the belly, that's a bit much.

There was a girl who had a huge sun-design tattoo on her belly that came in the store a few years ago. She wore the equivalent of a belly shirt throughout the pregnancy so that was like in your face. And she was skanky, as you would probably guess.
