I'm having an issue trying to figure out why my car can't be used in a certain rivals event. Everything about the car qualifies for the event, yet I can't select that car for the event.

Here is the event. It's the Community Monthly Class, 1/4 mile Infineon event.

Requirements are as follows.

Car must be: American, 1968-19xx (I forget exactly) RWD, not over 500HP, Front Displacement.

Why doesn't this car qualify?

I think it actually has to be "under 500hp" meaning 499 and less. Tried it with a 499hp Dart the other day and it worked.

It seems to be a weird glitch or something. My 500HP 77' T/A was eligible but the Dart I had to kick back to 499HP. :odd:

Some times the HP Reading is rounded up or down. You can't see it but the game can.

This man's correct.

The HP they display is rounded, but the number used behind the scenes isn't. Thus one 500 HP car might be eligible because it's exactly 500 HP, whereas another might be ineligible because it's actually 500.1 horsepower.

because it's exactly 500 HP
If I had to guess, this would be the case. 500HP isn't LESS than the 500HP requirement. It is equal. Semantics I know but the only conclusion I can come to at the moment.
1970 Boss Mustang because the traction is so terrible.
Or cause there is so much power coming from the engine and there isn't a lot of weight in the rear of the vehicle. I wouldn't exactly call it a traction issue but a weight distribution issue. :D

Traction just isn't what it should be with Drag Slicks.
