It might be enough to provoke whoever bought the Mustang to actually race the damn thing. Here we go. Should have happened a loooong time ago. Hope it gets traction. Especially if someone can get a couple Supras.

The article says about 11 cars currently. Maybe Steven Richards will dust his off.Does make me wonder how many GT4's are in Aus at the moment? Last time I watched an Aus GT race there were only 5 or 6 on the grid. Hopefully this might give new life to the category.
Really cool. Also, did by chance see a Supra GT4 on display?
That's just great, sounds like a fun weekend and, thank you. The photo's are obviously great and as I'm lucky enough to use a friend's camera over the last 3 years I need to give more thought into the composition of the photos as well. Great examples of that in your photos. Hardest part in editing (for me) is knowing whether or not the lighting is actually correct. I try to keep it in check with the histogram.Hey guys, I got to be Street Art Racing's personal photographer for the race weekend at the Nurburgring. Here are some images I took throughout the weekend. Great team, beautiful cars, and it was great to be there when they won the AM-class title!
An exciting new list of vehicles are eligible for the 2020 edition of the race, including the likes of heroic muscles cars like the Ford Mustang, Chevrolet Camaro and the emerging Kia Stinger.
Someone already has a Mustang production car in the class & was racing it at the last round at Sandown last weekend. With WAU's Camaro V8 Supercar project seemingly dead in the water. This is probably the only chance we'll get to see a Mustang vs Camaro battle around Bathurst. Someone get at least one of the each on the grid. Please.
When you look at the 6hr regulations regarding BoP, there’s a few reasons why I’d be hesitant to spend $170k for a Camaro + $??? on spares & running costs.
Yeah, $400k seems to be the popular rumour of their spend on car, build, development & spares. How much have the Sherrin's apparently dropped into their Bimmer? $400k or something ridiculous like that? We only need a couple of madmen like that!
Think you're spot on, especially when you talk about the weight of the Camaro and the logistics of everything. I can continue to dream though...
At least they're admitting they got the category wrong.Well, that'll be enough to remove this category from this section of the forum.
There's no such thing as any model in the category with a V8 rolling off a production line.
The cost of the current cars is totally out of control. How they allowed that to happen explains to me why the numbers have been so low & never really taken off.At least they're admitting they got the category wrong.
This is how they should've been from the start. Built for less than the current diesel engined cars with an LS in it... and supercabs look way better.
