Me posting a video I made, that I liked and though it could show some interesting physics and then...

Oh, sorry...
I wont publish anymore videos. I don't want to offend anyone.

It's a WMD release approved by SMS, because it was already used in a presentation.

There's a reason that there's no updated video. But I will not explain why
My error was to say it was old.
Instead of discussing it's old or new, I would love to see comments about the realism on the car behaviour.
Suspension, tires... would love to read feedback from the outside world (non WMD).

But if you guys think this is outrageous, I can make it private again.

Steady on, he didn't say he was offended, or it was outrageous or even complain about it. Lets not get hyperbole over this.

The tyre flex looks good in my opinion. The only criticism I would make from what I can see is that the rims seem to oscillate a bit to much once the car pulls up. I am sure that is tweakable by the devs if it is indeed too much.
👍

For me, suspension movement is one of the biggest aspects for game immersion. As a controller user, it provides me with that virtual feel of what the car is doing, where I can place it in the corners,

The Falcon V8 Supercar is good for that. It's the best one I've driven in any game. I'm able to actually trail brake(from braking point, corner entry, mid-corner), without understeering into the weeds.

Now if I can see more of this, it is going to be epic.

what somebody doesnt see in that "outdated" video.
Yes it's some months old, but the thing is "yes it sure workes since months in a really cool way" , it got enhanced since then and you'll love it.
BTW, there was another really new video in the last 2 weeks where you could see tire deformation really good.
Just watch the Rally Cross trailer carefully.

Trust, I watched that a few times. The tyres and suspension soak up the bumps "loverly".

I'm no expert, but I'm guessing they setup the car suspension a bit softer than usual for that track so that they can clobber the kerbs.

Supercars suspensions, are generally softer than most touring cars. They also have locked diffs and big camber numbers to help for turning. In PC1, the Falcon displays this characteristic of Supercars. Drivers from other disciplines note, the cars move around a lot.

DON'T YOU DARE!!!! :D

I for one appreciate seeing it, and I am showing it off to members of my league. The tire deformation is something that is HUGE for a sim, since the tire is the only thing allowing the car to do what it does. Being able to show the level of detail that pCARS2 is putting into this aspect is phenomenal.

I for one thank you for sharing it.

As for feedback, I can only say that I have nothign to say. Seeing the tire deforem visually is outstanding, but what is mor eimportant to me is how that translates into the FEEL of the car. Since I am not yet able to experience that for myself, I really have nothing to say on it (other than the obvious "I'm super excited to get my hands on it!!" comments :) )

I'm sorry if I've inadvertantly caused any offence - it certainly wasn't the intention. But please go back and read what I actually said. All I was questioning was why SMS are sanctioning the release of old, outdated footage as opposed to newer, improved versions. It certainly wasn't a criticism of your video. It's just that everything that SMS clear for release will likely be microscopically examined and critiqued (as was shown in the recent Long Beach video) so releasing 'old' media just seemed a little odd to me. That was all. Nothing outrageous. :)

I'll understand that you cannot answer about licenses and not expecting this to get an answer.

But...
Have you tried to use the 2016 IndyCar license as a bargaining tactic to get the MRTI on board?

I think you can see why i'm not expecting an answer.

I'm sure its nearly a week since the last reveal or announcement, feels like a lifetime.
Over a week now. I think the last car reveal was the rallycross cars then they show us red bull ring which we knew was coming already ....come on SMS we got nothing yesterday, please quench our appetite today lol

Those pictures make me really want to drive Nurburg in the snow while snowing :nervous::nervous::nervous::gtpflag: Bring out the camping tents:cheers:
Now they need to announce Thruxton and I can simulate a day at home. Because it would be snowing. And i'd be sitting at home. Playing Project CARS 2 at Thruxton in the snow simulating a day at home because it would be snowing and at home playing Project CARS 2. Well you get the rest. :P
