As long as everything available in the special pre-orders is made available to everyone in DLC form at a later date, I'm okay with it. Nothing should be exclusive to anyone just because they have more money than someone else. In video games and in life.

The additional cars were available with digital preorder in pCars 1. I can't imagine pCars 2 will be any different. Don't get upset if you think you're missing out on the 2 car packs. Wait for the digital preorders to be available.

This is official?

Looks a lot more intriguing than PCars 1's cover art, literally just a silhouette of a racing guy person

I have no clue if it has to do anything with PCARS2 but this car will be digitalized if my understanding is correct. Big grain of salt that it has anything to do with PCARS2.

All 3 editions of the game are available for pre order in Australia, have a look here mate :) https://ebgames.com.au/featured/project-cars-2
Damn, $230 for the Collector's Edition. But I really want that model car... Annoyingly, I'd be paying more than double the cost of the standard game:scared:

I don't have a problem with this cover. It's much more appealing and relevant to the game. People will think that the game is awesome.

Ive noticed in the system requirements on Steam that Direct X11 is specified under the recommended DX version. Is DX 12 still on the cards?

Cheers.

Is that r32 group a competitive with the other group a cars in the game?

Hopefully!

In Project Cars 1 SMS made the Group A cars competitive with each other whereas in reality they weren't - The Sierra was more powerful and faster than the BMW and competed in a different class within Group A - the BTCC at that time was split into 4 classes based on engine capacity with the Sierra in the top class due to a multiplication factor applied to non-naturally aspirated engines.

The Skyline was competitive in Australia with the Sierra under different rules than those used in BTCC.

Hopefully SMS have again twisted reality slightly and made the BMW (E30) M3 competitive with the Sierra. Also I hope the Group A R32 Skyline and the V8 DTM Audi run at the same pace as the Sierra.

I also hope that the Mercedes 190E Cosworth (from PC1) returns to battle with these cars, but I notice that it is not currently listed in the car list. Is there any news on this car? @jake2013guy and others?

Most Cars from PC1 will be in PC2. So probably yes. Same with Mercedes CLK-LM. I hope it will return, as a competition to Panoz GTR1 and McLaren F1 GTR Long Tail.

It will most likely be in but we've just not seen anything official about it.

Pick your camera view.

Looks great, sounds great, and looks like it's Yorkie behind the wheel so nice driving. I was wondering why Mclaren chose to have the rev light bar thing go up in chunks and not smoothly (that is if we assume the counter is represented correctly). Looks a bit odd.
