Actually I was thinking that a night or two ago, if you could go back to the year 2005 playing GT4, and you were fantasizing how GT would be like in 10 years time this would have been what I expected (but then with an unlock/credit system).

Sadly PD stalemated since then and a lot of games did one or two things good (for example one does graphics and car roster good, the other physics and sounds, another one had changing weather..). Never a game that ticked all the boxes until now .
Totally agree. My post was a little tongue in cheek. GTS I have no doubt will be a very good game but the way PCars 2 is shaping up I don't think, personally, that GTS has a chance of getting close to it. As a motorsports and sim racing fan PCars 2 could just be the ultimate game.

Yeah looking at what we have in the pipeline I can't see one redeeming factor in GTS that PCARS 2 lacks. Whilst the other way around... :P.

I would love it if they made an homage to the Ferrari F40 one-upping the Porsche 959 by having 201 cars. Just to say it's 200+

Watch some classic Group A footage. Maybe Australian TCC '91 & '92, for an idea as to how they matched up with the M3 & Sierra.
yeah i did already watch some of that, was just not sure with it being a fair bit later than the other cars.

The editions look really nice, but I'm waiting on Steam to see how they offer the game; I do want the Season Pass & Japanese pack.

This is the discussion thread for a recent post on GTPlanet:

Sorry for my language here, BUT I'M GOD D*** PISSED........

I'm from the USA, and I was wanting to pre-order the Ultra Edition of PCARs 2, then I read it was for EU players only.....

There were many regions that weren't able to order the limited edition tin version of pCARS and I sent 2 out myself that I got here in the UK, to guys in the USA and elsewhere. I know some folk from the USA also ordered their copies direct from the UK without any problems.

Is that r32 group a competitive with the other group a cars in the game?
More than competitive, I think. It wasn't dubbed "Godzilla" for nothing. :)

Just last week I got my best friend into PCARS1; he seems to like it and will probably get PCARS2. The R32 is one of his favorite cars, and the E30 is one of mine. That should be some fun racing. 👍

Not able to buy the collector's edition, but then again, I'm still relying on digital copies these days for PC games. I could just wait out for sales on both the base game AND the season pass since I don't have plans to build a new computer yet (I might have to rely on the old computer, or if it isn't enough, then jump on GeForce Now) and I'm still busy at school at the moment...

Think this will be the game that prompts me to upgrade my 980Ti to a 1080Ti.

Undecided on the Ultra edition at the moment. It's a lot of wedge but my heart rules normally!

The R32 will most likely thrash the other Group A cars in game. It may come down to how a player can control the car though.
An average player in a GT-R, may not be skilled enough versus a pro player in a Sierra. I obviously don't know, but maybe a tester can let us know if all Group A cars run together.

Sorry this is what I mean, will it not be a bit faster. I should of said will the other cars be competitive with the r32.

Meanwhile us Australian peasants get nothing for pre-order... OBVIOUSLY
I'll just buy the standard game, it would probably cost me $90. Even that is expensive. At least we know what the first DLCs will be - great car choices I say.

I understood right away. In game, the Sierra should be level in top speed. The M3 is underpowered. 190E is pretry good all around. Maybe the Audi V8 wkll be able to keep up. Out of corners and at starts, the GT-R wins.

I hope someone with more knowledge of the in game performance, will answer.
