Hmm. This Fall. (Or Autumn as it should be called)

Apparently, starts on September 22nd and ends on December 21st. Looks like my late September-early October prediction is looking fairly healthy.

Looks like @blowfishrulez is being called "an abhorrent excuse for a human being" by a staff member. I wouldn't expect that treatment at McDonald's. Although I agree with him. I read through *that* thread and saw endless abuse and nothing against it.

The funny thing is that you can pick any racing game, search on youtube, and you'll find video's of bugs and strange physics behaviour.

They all have their quirks, so not a single one is perfect.

This is why I don't understand the 'haters'. I'll play any racing game that is somewhat believable and delivers fun racing.

Tossers over at RD. I read stuff over there as you often find some decent stuff on the PC side but rarely post as it's a very 'insular' place. They know what they like and wouldn't dream of giving anything as mainstream as PCars the time of day. Their loss!

Wow. The way staff are speaking to users who don't agree with them over there is pathetic. Talk about little big man syndrome. I don't get why some people insist on treating others like they're less than human on the internet. They must have serious issues to carry on like that, abusing the tiny amount of power they've been given. It's kinda funny though, how obvious it is that they only act like such big shots online to compensate for how pathetic they really are. ****ing basement dwellers...

Well, they figured i overstepped their ToS. They have house right of course and can ban whoever they want to - even without any reason. I have no problem accepting that.

The lame name calling is not surprising and only makes them look weak. I wrote my comment solely based on what i read over there. A formal warning, perhaps with a mod edit (because: lies!), would have been sufficient - without the aftertaste of 'bitten dogs tend to bark' while locking down the topic.

All that said, I'd still be happy if their customers and community get their questions answered too.

People feel they can get away with it on the Internet, because unlike in real life, there is no risk of the reader's fist meeting their teeth.

The real world has consequences. The Internet (for the most part) doesn't. The power of being able to hide behind a fake user name and a keyboard. Most of these people would never have the guts to say any of these kinds of things to their own shadow in the real world. And if they did they would immediately run and cower behind mommy's apron.

Oh yeah, I know all of this mate. It's pathetic. Reading that thread over at RD just reminded me why I chose GTP all those years back. I didn't have the time to contribute to multiple gaming or sim racing forums, and I'd been lurking around a few for a while trying to decide which one was the best. I chose GTP because it was by far the most civilised.

I like that even if there is a heated debate here, people are usually able to keep it on track, and not resort to personal attacks and the usual vile filth that comes out in most other places (*cough* YouTube comments *cough*).

GTP is by a long way the best sim racing forum on the 'net. Thanks everyone for making it so. :gtpflag::cheers:

I wonder if Vaughn Gittin Jr. Ford Mustang RTR is also joining the fun, considering we get his Ford F-150 Funhaver.

I think the logo under the light is a giveaway...

Also, has anyone seen this footage?

I would honestly be more surprised if it isn't than if it is. Would seem very strange to not have it included all things considered.

The one thing I really like about this video is the detail in the track itself.

Forza's Long Beach is great, and I've put a lot of time into it. But, it doesn't replicate the bumpiness of the road like the video above, esp. coming onto the back straight as the car struggles to put down full power.

The logo could just be related to the partnership between VGJ and PC2. Although it's possible.

Well ... I was just speculating but apparently someone leaked the surprise.

"The roster will include new additions such as the RallyCross cars, and some unique additions, such as Vaughn Gittin Jr.’s Monster Energy Nitto Tire Ford Mustang RTR Spec 5-D"
http://simracingpaddock.com/project-cars-2/what-we-know-so-far-project-cars-2/

It also mentions point-to-point racing. Did we know about that?
It's not a big surprise to be honest. They're talking about the SMS created tracks such as Azure Coast, California Highway that are basically point to point tracks.

Hate to be the one to burst your bubble on this one, but the author of that article is a bit confused..... Here's the quote of the full sentence.

"The roster will include new additions such as the RallyCross cars, and some unique additions, such as Vaughn Gittin Jr.’s Monster Energy Nitto Tire Ford Mustang RTR Spec 5-D, dubbed the “Ultimate Fun Haver”. "

Note the last part? "Dubbed the Ultimate Fun Haver". That's NOT the Mustang..... That's the F-150 we already know about. Makes me question everything in that article......

Say @IanBell , can you please give a tester permission to post on gtplanet, so we can see some video of these cars in action? I'm dying here.
