From my perspective, most are Fords, Astons, and Corvettes. A lot of those liveries are in the first game. The dark gray car is a mystery, and the white car reminds me of the Riley Viper that was in GTE AM.
 
So, while watching the RL GT4 race at Brands Hatch, I got the itch. Rebooted PC1. Did a 15min race at Silverstone GP, 31 AI @100%, used the #56 Aston. I started 22nd and finished 16th, with a high of 12th.

What struck me the most, was watching the replay. The #71 G55 started 28th and finished 11th. All the AI behaved, but some back and forth for positions, allowed the #71 to capitalise. It also got my position when I went too hot at the first hairpin.
Halfway through the race, it got locked in a battle with the #54 Aston Hybrid and the #74 Rocket Bunny. The #74 pushes the Aston wide and the #71 gets a good run for the position.
For the last 5minutew, it makes haste and closes the gap on a 4 way battle for 7th. I think the clear air helped it, because it did the fastest lap- 02:09.992.
The winning AI(GT4 Aston) finished with a 02:10.709. Most of the field were 11s, 12s, 13s(mine was a 02.13:238), a couple 14s and a lone 15 by a Rocket Bunny(in 31st place).

I've never had offline racing like this in GT. I don't think GTS will even have offline racing close to this. With the talk of how much better everything is in PC2, it's going to be difficult(not really) to play anything else.

I agree man and what's even better is that I played project cars for probably 2 months straight and it made me race better on forza 6. Previously I would set the difficulty on forza to expert or pro and have good close races but after my long stint with PC1, I now race unbeatable and come in 1st most of the time. I like how the AI races in project cars, you can really have some nice close races.
 
I really can't wait to experience the lighting in pCARS 2 first-hand, especially with seasonal track conditions. Dawn races at Laguna Seca still completely blow me away with the alternating pockets of light and shade, long shadows, and the blinding sun rising at Turn 6 before the Rahal Straight. It just looks absolutely incredible.

Set up a ten-lapper in June with a 4am start, 20x time acceleration and light cloud/medium cloud/heavy cloud/clear conditions and tell me you aren't impressed.

Maybe it's the cheap Tesco overalls or the inflatable shoes, but something just looks a bit 'off' with that crew member, a bit like the weird lollipop man in the first pCARS.

I'm kinda hoping the models improve to a standard in the GTS beta pre-race or profile screens (yes, I know he's a driver).

i think McLaren P1 is mounted with this type of rims: (5 screws) instead of central screw

Lol good eye. Well hopefully it's a small detail that will get fixed otherwise it's not a game breaker for me, still nice to see animated pit crew in game.
