Hey, new guy here with a quick question. I am wondering if there is a way to hide or at least make the steering wheel static on the PS4 version of PCars? I am pretty interested in getting the game but if I can't get cockpit view without the steering graphics (like in ACorsa) that might be a deal breaker for me.
Thanks for any help/input
My first guess was Motegi but it doesn't seem to match.I've been trying to figure out the circuit.
What could this mean? Joining in on the Reliant Robin meme? Morris Minis? Kei cars?GameSpotThe developers and I joked that with all the painstaking work going into replicating true-to-life dynamic environments, most people wouldn't even be able to appreciate the subtleties unless they implemented a low performance racing mode with cars that couldn't break the speed limit so easily. "Funny you should say something like that," Tudor remarks. "We can't talk about it just yet."
Great to see some details about how they specifically improved oversteer simulation. 👍GameSpotRegarding the original simulations, Viljoen admitted: "There were areas that we knew needed improvement, and one of them was when you push the car beyond the limit. When you go over the edge, the way the slip curve of the tyre works made it a bit difficult for people to catch the car when it goes sideways. In Project Cars 2 we've added additional types of grip simulations, where we accurately simulate how it affects the handling of the car when the tire is moving across the track surface when it's not rolling. [Also] how the tarmac is ripping the tire itself, which effects, in a big way, that aspect of driving. So we got a full simulation of that implemented, and part of the fallout of that is that our cars are now far more controllable when they go over the limit: we have a far more progressive slip curve which determines how handleable you still are on the car when it is sideways."
I don't know but got some images I screenshotted and outputted to Paint for 2 circuits. Might help.My first guess was Motegi but it doesn't seem to match.
The car behind the Aston Martin looks like the Ford GT LM.
I think the first one is hell, it matches where the trucks are in the next clip and that still seems to match with the finish line (on the track not in the starting area).I don't know but got some images I screenshotted and outputted to Paint for 2 circuits. Might help.
EDIT: In multiplayer player number news (Or not): http://apexonlineracing.com/community/threads/project-cars-2-speculation.13643/page-8#post-317043
He's onto something. Looks very low. I initially thought it was a Ginetta. And would make much more sense if it was a GTE car model race. The car behind the Aston Martin looks like the Ford GT LM.
They already got the road car so it would make sense.
Live Track is Dynamic road surface transitions that affect vehicle performance, grip, and handling in real-time with bleeding-edge tire physics and surface deformities.
You have an example here.

Agreed. Sounds much more clean and throaty which is what I perceive that car to sound like.I have to say, the audio is much improved. It's 100% cleaner than PC1, and bad shifting sounds are finally gone.
And the GT-R has a Liquid Moly banner.👍Here's a few new screenshots.
2016 Bathurst 12h Livery which is why it has 1a as the car number. And the GT-R has a Liquid Moly banner.👍
@jake2013guy At 0:44 in the trailer, where you see a small bit of the Accura NSX racing against the BAC Mono, I believe that track is Sugo.
Take a look at this video and tell me if it doesn't look similiar (I pointed you the frame that you need to watch).

I think it's far too low to be a Viper.Looks like a Viper near the Vantage. The Ford doesn't have those fog lights on the bumper.
I hope there is a Mini. I love the Escort and 2002 Turbo(hope we get a tii or NA option), they are so lonely without an Alfa, 510 and Mini to have a proper Trans Am class.GameSpot put up an interview with Andy Tudor and Stephen Viljoen.

After spending a considerable chunk of my PCARS1 career driving prototypes or GT3s, I'm getting bored of grip and downforce, even after going into PCARS1 with an open mind for those kinds of cars. Again, I'm pleased that PCARS covers a variety of vehicles, because a lower level of performance is more engaging to me. Dinky sub-100hp cars would be a hoot, especially door-to-door on a rallycross circuit!

I think Forza and Gran Turismo should be worried now 👍Very, very impressed with PCARS2. I've nearly lost hope in PD.
You have 60 tracks! That's in 2 years aswell. PD take 3 years for 6 tracks....GT6
