I recall in PCARS 1 you could start anywhere in career mode. but they've locked out a couple of classes like Indycar. not a huge deal tho

Watching all of these videos you really get a feel for each era and car class and how they drive. The Group A at Donnignton are just raw touring cars that look like a white knuckle ride is what it takes to be fast. A little contact here and there. The GTE at Watkins Glen, very smooth and calculated. The pinnacle of modern GT racing. The GT-1 at Daytona Road Course, just pure speed everywhere. The sense of speed from that video was intense. It's nice to see all the cars with their own personality and they appear to drive just as one would expect.

New camera angles at Monza. Look like TV broadcast spots.

The Audi video was awesome at one of my favorite tracks(wood dash still intact!).

That Fairlady video. The Camaro pulling away on the straights. Plus, the Jag outbraking itself. I did notice, bumping a car is more violent. Could make players aware not to do that so much. The car ahead wasn't that unsettled, so, maybe that aspect will be dialed in more.

This is just crazy. I'm going to spend so much time doing reconnaissance laps. Following AI, letting them pass, do some race pace runs. Real racing. 👍

Finally. I'm a little disappointed that the AI spreads out at a track like Daytona but to be honest I don't care because it's gonna be really fun online. It's gonna be a completely different type of race once you have actual people instead of AI.

I have a feeling it might be due to the aggressiveness (or lack of) from the AI. I also have a feeling that something happened mid pack because there was 2 clear packs before they left Turn 2.

Yeah, I saw somebody back out of getting squeezed on the bottom and fell back a lot.

There are some online but RX only and small lobbies. Agree on the AI levels when necessary.

It's always necessary lol. It would just be nice to know to get a better idea how they act at different levels.

I want to try very low skill with high aggression (Maldonado-mode) and then very high skill with low aggression and see if it just becomes a parade lap like Formula 1 sometimes is.

It isn't necessary when it's 1 car being driven.
