If choose between current GT Sport and PC3, I would choose GT, especially if it will feature new 935. Because apart from this specific car, I see nothing new, and GT Sport have all what could ever asked for driving pleasure. Upgrades aren't really that selling factor...

Deep inside feel like giving up on this game more with each day.

Say what you will about SMS/Codemasters, after the somewhat lackluster announcement of Forza Motorsport today (no gameplay, no launch date, no info) they have the market for themselves for the foreseable future in all platforms. Well played.

I tend to come to the PCARS subforums first when I visit to GTP. Thanks for saving me the trouble of looking up that video today, I guess. :boggled:

Forza has so many of the sort of cars I want to see in a PCARS game that I remain interested to see if they'll ever give a **** again about making Forza the best simulator it can be, like the effort they seemed to put into the XB360 games, leap-frogging Gran Turismo at the time.

Man, all I want is a hardcore realistic simulator with kooky old cars and everyman commuter-mobiles next to all the expected fan favorites. :(

Nobody misunderstad me please. I lobed Ian's naturality to the poiont of streching it just how he did when pc2 promotion began (and he with guitar and all that). I even remember saying, in this verty forum (that's the point, was here right?), that the industry needed more people like Ian. I am damn sure I said that and it was here.

Ok, times might have changed then, but still in my head the question persist. Ain't he The Boss anymore or what?

And yes for all those who still doubt or didn't get me. Regardless that old attitude of his might be counter-productive or not considered serious with the risk of being punished blahblah mehmeh... I still loved it, and gave kudos to him and, most important, called him human. That session of his being that drunk but defending his product against anyone who wanted to mess with him..., I will never forget that. I know the serious guys will always say "this guy should shut the **** and never manage advertising"..., but I will never forget that. Loved that attitude of his.

Ok my two cents. Kill me now mother*** hehehh

One month to go and there is basically nothing.
Imo it will be delayed. However i am very interested but without any proper info on content and gameplay i am not preordering (well no need to pre order, is there any extra content ?)

they haven't announce anything for pre orders and none of the console stores is doing pre orders as well. SMS don't seem to be interested in doing any marketing for the game too.

And any promotions they have done on social media have been really cack handed and continuously misleading.

So today’s livestream was pretty dumb, they showed the same old trailer for F&F. I don’t see the point. My expectations for friday’s Trailer are low now. It might just be the same trailer we’ve seen before.

So they never posted this weeks lap? Why did they lie that like and why do they continue with the 🤬 marketing for this game.

I'm just trying to make sense of what this people are doing with the marketing of this game.

You know is bad when the countdown thread is the most exciting thread on the pcars 3 section.

I don't see that happening. You would think if it was going to be delayed it would have been by now. I just think the marketing is weak. I reckon we'll get the next hot lap vid tomorrow and then pre orders will be live by the end of the week.
 
delaying the game is not a bad idea now, delay it by a month or two then have a more aggressive marketing for those 2 months. SMS/Bandai themselves don't even seem interested in selling the game up to this point.
 
If there's a delay, it's gonna be more than a couple of months; launching this game near the release of Dirt 5 doesn't sound ideal for Codemasters.
 
I feel like if anything gets delayed by SMS it will be the F&F game since I'm wondering if they even remember it's supposed to come out in 2 weeks.

And why do you feel that it's gonna be delayed? Just yesterday they revealed the main villain of the game's story.

Because that and an interview with one of the voice actors is all we've gotten since May. We haven's seen any gameplay besides the gameplay trailer, no further videos showing what exactly the point of the game is, not even interviews highlighting features. Nor do we have any car or location lists to entice people.

It just seems very odd to have this little info about a game so close to release. Hopefully they will ramp up their marketing in that time but I doubt it.

Edit: There is apparently a location list on their site, but it doesn't really go into detail.

Hmm, let me disagree with that.


They are doing a terrible job by not showcasing those things yes, but all the information that you seek is on the game's website and social media.

That was the interview I was talking about in the post you are disagreeing with...:odd:

And the whole point of marketing is so people don't have to dig to find info about your product.
