I find that -politics or gaming lol what a mix, anything really- people tend to find people that agree with them to be much more reasonable than people who disagree with them. It's a funny thing. If you don't like a game, others who don't like it are just expressing valid criticism and people upset by that are just mindlessly defending the developers like sheep. If you like a game, others who don't like it are just hurling childish or elitist insults and people upset by that are just trying to focus on the things it does well.

Amusing critters, these humans.
 
Most of the negativity towards PC3 is from people who are long termers both in the game and on the official forum who basically, loved PC2 and feel spurned by PC3. I don't know, I sure wasn't happy about the new direction and certainly tried to make my position clear hopefully without engaging in open hostility, as did many others. In the end I said my piece and left it there, mostly. And some on the other side who like the direction make some great points as well, but there is a lot of childishness and trolling going on over there, the way I see it there's definitely some baiting going on and some are upset/dumb enough to fall for it.
Don't necessarily agree with Konan all the time but I also don't envy his job, generally seems a reasonable fellow in an unreasonable situation.

If not a game, this forum will make Project Cars 3 forums better. If only we had that kind of discussion through game's development, I guess this could be a better game too. Project CAOF:).

I have pre-order the game, but still don't know what is it, do I have 40+ cars to upgrade with aero and mech, or the whole list, and this supposed to be key feature of the game.
 
One of the big elephants in the room is the fact this new game is releasing with only 2 new real world circuits Interlagos and Jerez. They have removed 4 real world circuits (Le Mans etc) A new release and only 2 new real circuits.

Due to the pandemic and people being stuck inside etc gaming and sim racing are experiencing an all time boom. Many retailers reporting lack of stock on wheels etc, games sales up. If the game does not to sell well it will will be purely down to the design decisions made for this release.

It's not desperate at all. That thread was set up for people who are looking forward to a new version of their favourite racing game.

There are plenty of other threads there already for anyone who wants to voice their displeasure at the changes SMS have made, and that's fine. I completely understand that lots of folk are very annoyed.

I believe that Konan was right to start that thread though, I was sick of seeing the same complaints every five minutes in every thread in those forums.
 
I want this game to replace Forza Motorsport 7 on the PC for me..... that game is getting old and i want somerhing new so i hope this game can do that for me.... o and i play with controller.

I switched from GT Sport to Motorsport 7 but i Dont Know why but i cant get gut in Forza for Some reason..... GT is not on pc so i need something and Since Forza Motorsport (new) i need PC3 to be good for me at least with controller.....

Both which i just bought a few days ago.

TTR is great 👍

Ride 3 not so much those bikes still turn like they weight 1 Billion ton :crazy: They just feel so heavy.

And of course pcars 2 in which i just finished passing 135k miles with my p1 gtr :)

GT for chilling messing around, and PC for the league racing. Still not sure if 3 could really replace or fit into this... Can't be instead PC2 because of obvious reasons, and GT have better car list for mindless runs... If upgrades really that good, then might move GT again.

Glad to see the historic prototypes made the list but it's a shame they won't have their historic tracks to run on. I have a ton of miles on Historic LeMans in PC2. Plus with the grids for PC3 they might be racing against TCR cars for all we know. That part of it is really messing with my mind now. Totally screwed up racing car grids is Forza's thing, let them have it. But even they get some of those right. Who knows what's going to happen with PC3.

PC3 has went from a definite no buy because of the loss of LeMans and Spa and because of the hokey achievements markers on track, to a maybe since I've now seen multicar racing footage WITHOUT those stupid markers and there still is Outlon Park, Donington, Snetterton, Imola and there is the Corvette C8R. But it is a definite NO preorder. I want to see what those grids look like and if I think I can live with that.
 
I am playing Horizon 4 for the weekly rewards and also Crew 2 for fun & Summit.

but yes - its about time I get me some fresh stuff :D

still I like and appreciate the weekly challenges Horizon 4 and Crew 2 offer.
I would like that support as well for a GT Sport or Forza 7 but both decided to sleep :crazy:

I'm playing a bit of GT Sport and PC2. But mostly.....and this is driving, certainly not racing......Snowrunner. Love that game. And so much content.

Good write up @Jezza819 - constructive criticism, good to see. I may preorder, but I'm still not 100% sure. But a new racing game would be fun, so I'll probably break down and buy it
 
Mostly playing Test Drive Unlimited with Platinum mod, good fun to revisit old games with new cars.

I'm still not sure whether to preorder pCARS 3, gamepad and career improvement is great but I'm still quite annoyed with the messy car classes.
 
Just went on the pcars subreddit and people are claiming that SMS are purposefully holding back SPA and Le Mans to bring them as free DLC as some kind of marketing ploy (don’t ask) and they assume that SMS stole the Jesko from the pcars 2 mod. Fun people. If that’s what the mods at the pcars forum have to deal with, I feel sorry for them.

That I'm sure is not the case, I believe I heard new tracks to PC3 are not paid DLC and will be free. And no, that's not what the mods at the official forums are dealing with. I haven't seen any of that type of behavior, they are strictly policing the forums to be only positive towards PC3. I've seen much negative, yet constructive criticism not be handled in a way that encourages intelligent debate between the two sides.

Sank over 50 hours into F1 2020 since its launch.

I was really waiting this game very much, but after the recent outcomes I decided to wait for it to be released and read the feedbacks/reviews.

It could help to try a demo.
