Yes cause that guy from what i seen is the most trustworthy guy on earth:rolleyes:

I will hold you to this post in cause they do add MT in the future.

Of course i'm sure you'll have a excuse for it then as well.
You'll hold me to a post where I repeated what someone who worked for the company said? Ok.

And I'll have an excuse? Why? You feel like I just drink the kool-aid of SMS and they can do no wrong? I've been vocal about not private lobbies at launch (I know they'll be added in, but still). It's what's made me not preorder it yet. I also want to see how the game actually is when it comes out, judged by sites I know and trust. I've spoken up against people acting like this is some massive betrayal when it's a GAME that you have the option of purchasing or not. I'm not just a "fanboy" who won't criticize questionable decisions

Im just waiting to see and hear all the raging about releasing an unfinished game and needs updates... Ive learnt my lesson now never to buy games upon release, you need to wait a good few months for them to be any good.. (as in finished/ playable) looking at you assetto corsa competzione that was awful beyond belief...

Is there a way to see all these statements without having to scroll through all the fluff?

I find it strange that discord seems to be one of the main communication channels for marketing this game but maybe I'm too much of a boomer

You can search for Fernando's or Nathan's posts in the search bar.

Interesting that thus FAQ states grid sizes increased to 20 for PS and Xbox. In sure they were larger than that, heck I ran a 26 car race on Oulton Park the other day. I'm wonder if this is perhaps meant to say reduced to 20, which would be disappointing.

The last game had grid sizes capable of up to 32 on PS and Xbox in single player AFAIK. Unless they mean for multiplayer lobbies.

Does that mean online - i.e. an increase from 16 to 20?

My grid size has always been 23 AI cars but that was only possible with Xbox One X. On the old Xbox One 16 was the max you could run without causing problems.

The full quote didn't specify if it is online or not. I would guess it's for both. Maybe we can ask Fernando when he's back online.

If it's online then that's fine. If it's single player as well that's a massive backwards step knowing the grid sizes were capable of more.

Project CARS 1 and Project CARS 2 are the only game that I know where you can completly destroy the framerate on console if you want. Maybe they're trying to avoid that this time.

Forgive the offtopic, but based on a video I watched earlier on today the new Marvel Avengers game can probably join that list. Also competitive with pCARS3 in the "HOW much motion blur?!?" stakes...

This is one of the bigger issues on a standard PS4 unfortunately. It's near impossible to run a large track like Le Mans multiclass with changing weather conditions. A small part of mine still hopes that although SMS won't make PC2 available for PS5 it still can run on that console as I've read somewhere that every PS4 game could be playable but that they can't guarantee that it works 100%

There ARE private lobbies? This is outstanding. I may just preorder it:gtpflag:

If you read the post he doesn't say when the private lobbies will be available, just what they will feature.

I would also echo the previous comment about using Discord as a primary means of communication and wonder what happened to the official FAQ promised weeks ago.

Good news is we get to find out from reviewers before the game comes out. That certainly sounds like it's not something that will be patched in. We will see. I'm curious what date this is from.

As for discord, they have a channel entitled 'announcements'. Other than that they sometimes pop on (well, Nathan does) and do an impromptu Q&A with the people one there. That's where a lot of info ends up simply due to the open nature of it

Don't forget about those weekly hotlap videos too...

On certain tracks my poor Xbox S still struggled at times with just 10 cars.
(I won't be buying the cheaper console next gen.)
