I figured it was some ridiculous licensing issue. Stupid DTM licensing.

Unfortunately, the license for this car doesn't belong to Audi, but to DTM. That's why they haven't got it.

I asked SMS about this a few weeks ago. They said it is do with DTM licencing being strict. They planned to have the A4 DTM and C-Coupe AMG DTM but having 2 competing cars, despite the Audi being a generation older, would deem it an officially licenced product which it is not. SimBin have exclusive rights for DTM. The reason the liveries are simple in design and do not feature logos or numbers is that they, by looking realistic, would apparently infringe licence terms.

SMS chose to use the C-Coupe AMG DTM instead of the Audi. I was really looking forward to the A4 too. Actually I wanted it more than the Mercedes based on early gameplay videos.

Thanks for the replies, it's a shame we don't get the Audi but if it's a choice between that and the Merc I'd take the Merc.

Too bad license issues prevent PCars from having more DTMs. More DTMs & Super GT would be great additions to PCars imo.

I wholeheartedly agree.

More DTMs Super GT and Touring cars, particularly Japanese and American ones. Road cars... need.. MORE..road cars!

Also, nearly half the cars in the game feel seriously underpowered, with no option to even add parts to make em' go faster.

Which is good, considering all cars have their BoP balanced prior meaning we don't have to rely on other people sorting it, nor do we need to worry about others cheating,

I agree though, some cars do feel underpowered, but I'm not sure if its underpowered or the grip level from the tires, but who cares! Still rather this then the current alternatives on ancient consoles,

It's up to the modders to program the physics as best they can. Some are very good at it and well known, others not so much.

The free car is another RUF roadcar, as far as DLC, no. They mentioned an upcoming one being "old to new" featuring some BMWs and Astons or something, but I'm not sure it was a solid announcement for the next DLC.

I got a racing sim, give me racing cars. We have such a shallow rooster in gt4, gt5... GT3 misses some great cars too and same for modern touring cars. Come'on!

Has anyone found the Audi A4 DTM car in the game files and tried to revive it. It has a livery template in the game code

Every now and then, at a certain amount of revs, the BAC Mono makes a sound like Chewbacca. Nice added bonus. I had written this car off after i first drove it, but after tuning out the chronic exit oversteer it's actually pretty good fun. Wish it was a bit faster and having the McLaren F1 in the same class can be a bit tough at times though.

Drive the Bac Mono at night and when someone is following you, look backwards and it looks like you're firing fireballs at them!

Is this for real? Please don't say this is fake....I had a Toyota tour with the team in 2014 at Silverstone when they won it....so seeing this coming to PCARS is like a wet dream.

Also heard it's coming with the new for old DLC? Well that's what I heard anyway whether that's true I don't know but if it is I will cry for joy

There are several cars that goes with the dlc's name:
- 2015 Ford Mustang GT/1966 Ford Mustang Fastback
- 1959 Aston Martin DBR1/2009 Aston Martin DBR1-2
- 1987 Ruf CTR Yellowbird/ 2013 Ruf Rt-12R
- 1968 Lotus 56 Indy Car/ 2015 Dallara DW-12 Indy Car

Yep. Not sure how many/what exactly, but Toyota is definitely in. That being said, I suppose there is always a tiny chance a deal will fall through and the licenses won't happen?
