There may be a tiny number of Japanese cars but certainly not too prominent. Couple of Lancers and a Toyota or two. That's pretty much what's been hinted at so far.

There is 2 Mitsi Evo's to come according to the OP of this thread, though Toyota isn't mentioned at all, hoping for the Lexus GT3, but thats like hoping for an actual Lexus GT3 in my shed,

NO mods at all! those cars are currently W.I.P. (discoverd from the unpack tool, I added them manually)
It's just a prove that they going to be released.

Sorry, didn't mean it sound accusing, was just confused as to where these had come from. I don't think anyone either inside WMD or outside has ever seen these cars being developed? Great to see them clearly well progressed, although I was hoping the GT86 would be the racing variant. Does the game also have the original AE86 in it as well?

I don't think so.

The chance that they will be free is very minimal. The leaked season pass was accurate so far and it showed "Toyota & Mitsubishi Macau" as an expansion pack, so my bet is that they will be part of a similar small expansion pack as the Audis with Ruapuna.

Nobody works for free , they aren't a charity so getting a free car now and then is a bonus but I'd fully expect to have to pay for extra content .
BUT I will only buy the extra content IF they are useable in career mode aswell !

Please let them be free. Please let them be free. Please let them be free.
Not a chance of that. Licences can cost big money and without the backing of a huge publisher it ain't going to happen. Also, the DLC is very reasonable so it is all good.

That info suggests that the Toyotas will come in January 2016, that's a bit of a wait.
I had the feeling that it would be quite a way off. It is unfortunate but not at all surprising. That is me wishing the remainder of 2015 away then.

Toyota...this is interesting! SERIOUSLY!!! We need more Japanese cars, and Toyota is ideal!!! If this is true, I can't really wait for Toyota to come! :D

I'd been seeing the same Toyota car driving round my area the last couple of weeks and had no idea what it was, other than it looked nice. Now I know! Looks like it's a GT86 and it's coming to pCARS. Sweet

Whatever happened to the Audi A4 DTM, I had totally forgot about it but a lot of the early gameplay footage was of this car, it seems strange that they wouldn't have got the licence since they seem to be on quite good terms with Audi (If you ignore the R8 LMS having no liveries).

Unfortunately, the license for this car doesn't belong to Audi, but to DTM. That's why they haven't got it.

I asked SMS about this a few weeks ago. They said it is do with DTM licencing being strict. They planned to have the A4 DTM and C-Coupe AMG DTM but having 2 competing cars, despite the Audi being a generation older, would deem it an officially licenced product which it is not. SimBin have exclusive rights for DTM. The reason the liveries are simple in design and do not feature logos or numbers is that they, by looking realistic, would apparently infringe licence terms.

SMS chose to use the C-Coupe AMG DTM instead of the Audi. I was really looking forward to the A4 too. Actually I wanted it more than the Mercedes based on early gameplay videos.
