all of the time trials are open, apart from the one we want! There is something going on...

So the DLC will be on the 9th of June?
Only 4 days to wait then... Which does make sense as they replied to a tweet from a fan asking about DLC.. They said wait till next week.. Which will be the Racing Icons car pack :)

I'm sure we can hope for the update to be released the same day! Ian did say that they would release bothe if the timing was right!

Thanks for clarifying. That should line up more properly with the typical Tuesday/Wednesday update day for Steam.

Apologies if this has been answered before, but can we still get The Modified Car Pack (CTR3 SMS-R, Zonda Cinque, Atom Mugen) sometime down the line as DLC even if we didn't pre-order? I'm just waiting for all the bugs to get sorted out before I buy the game (hopefully it will also be cheaper by then), but I also like to have all the cars. I'll most likely get it on PC, second choice would be PS4.

Thanks for any answers 👍

As far as anyone knows you cannot buy that pack yet, just hope they bring it out in the near future but it's no guarantee.

I got the pre-order & limited edition DLC packs at the American PSN Store, they're definitely worth the price, ideally those DLC packs should be available in all regions & formats, it makes no sense for certain content to be available only to a certain console/region.

I'm looking forward to see the content of the next DLC pack.

It also makes no sense to call something "Limited" Edition, then offer it to everybody, unlimitedlylyly.

You're perfectly entitled to your opinion. But if you ask me, it's poor practice to withhold in-game content as "Limited Edition". Steel case, book, keychain whatever is totally fine. Heck, even extra liveries are fine. But individual cars and tracks are a big no-no.

Anyway I'm hoping after a year or so (after those who pre-ordered have gotten their sense of elitism satisfied) SMS will put out the car pack for everyone. Otherwise I'm just gonna go the PC route. At least someone should be able to mod it into the game 👍

Then what's the point of calling it Limited Edition? If everyone is going to get it, it should be called Exclusive Content or something like that.

I like the idea of preorder bonus. I was willing to outlay an amount of money to reserve a copy which had a steel case, a development booklet and some preorder vehicles. I didn't buy the game on a whim and I was committed to wait for it because it's something I wanted. I see it as rewarding those who put money down regardless of how long it may take to release. That being said I'm not against people who at the time were unable to preorder or couldn't outlay the money being able to buy it at a later date.

It is called limited edition because the steel case was indeed limited in numbers. The cars were part of it but where is the point in not making them available for everyone?

Let me explain the situation: I LOVE cars. We all do. That's why we buy the game and spend so much time discussing it passionately in the forums. I would have pre-ordered the game, but I was not confident in SMS's ability to put out a bug free game at release. True enough, my fears are realized when it launched. If the last patch is any indication, PCARS could do with being polished for another few months. I'm not going to give them my money early because it encourages bad practice of releasing unfinished and untested games (a practice that is becoming INCREASINGLY prevalent in the industry). Now, once all the bugs have been ironed out and I want to buy the game, I can't have all the cars anymore.

I'm OK with not getting a steel case or a book. I'm OK with not getting special liveries. I'm OK if I have to wait a year to get the extra cars. But not having all the cars or tracks available forever due to some pre-order bogus is not fair because you're not getting the FULL experience of everything the developers have made.

Because "LIMITED" Edition.

Get off your high horse. If only 10% of people actually pre-ordered the game out of the 1 million, there are already around 100,000 "Limited" edition copies. There's nothing "limited" when the numbers are that high. Might as well let everyone else enjoy the cars later too. You already get your steel case, book and early access to these cars.

And FYI I just found this:

https://store.playstation.com/#!/en...pack/cid=UP0700-CUSA01338_00-PCARSDIGPREORDER

Technically I (or anyone else for that matter) could import a US version of the game, get a US PSN card off ebay and get the "pre-order" bonus anytime I want. So much for being "Limited".

They can call it "Give us all your money car pack". It dosent change a thing.

Why not sell it as an Add on? More money!

And the fact that its already for sale in the US meens its probley going to available in the rest of the world as well!

There is a difference between limited edition and simply taking the piss with the customers. I pre-ordered the game for PS4 from Very for £25 yet didn't get the modified car pack because the list of retailers was hidden on the PCARS website, to have an extra 3 cars (all of which are similar to already in game cars) would've cost an extra 15 quid!. Even worse because Game bought the exclusivity it would've cost £35 more for the second car pack, that is £7 per car which let's be honest is quite ridiculous.

you got that cheep as hell! is very a good place to buy games from?

lets get this clear, the packs will not cost more then £5. so even if you buy the DLC when it comes on the store you would have saved so much money!

I would normally buy from Amazon but there was a nice deal on Groupon where you could buy a £50 Very voucher for £25 so I bought the game for £47 and £25 of PSN money (I thought I might need it for the DLC) for £47 total.
I hope the packs are less than £5 but not if that means they're spread between more smaller packs.

I have no doubt it'll be available at some point. As you say, more money for SMS. They won't turn that down

This is the only dlc that would get my money no matter what: we just need 2 nurb stitching and wtcc. I really feel those cars are missing in the game rooster of motorsport choices. Back on topic do we get it tomorrow? I'm curious about what they consider "iconic" :D

You still don't understand the concept of limited so putting a number of 100.000 to it is a moot point. McDonalds do a limited edition run of burgers, they probably sell millions but it's still LIMITED.

You knew what the deal was from the start, either pre-order or live in America, so there's no point crying on here like you didn't get a chance to acquire the LIMITED edition cars pack.

You say anyone can use a US PSN card, great news, why don't you do that?
