The Toyota TS020 is NOT AN LMP900, it is a GT1 car. Yes yes yes some were modified for LMP900 (LMPGT in its case), but that particular car was a GT1 car, through and through. They even built a road car for the thing to be homolagated for GT1. It raced against the Porsche 911 GT1, the Mclaren F1 GTR Longtail GT1, the Mercedes Benz CLK-LM GT1, the Panoz Esperante GT1 and the Lotus GT1 thing in the FIA GT1 world championship.

We have the GTE Aston Martin in the Mix with the GT3 Cars. So SMS could still put him in the LMP900 Category since the BMW V12 LMR was a competitor back then.

As far as "there isn't another Japanese Car Pack coming", there is the Mazda coming.

Mazda is coming ? I must have missed the SMS news release on this.

The car in the pic is the '99, which actually was classed as an LMP after some rule changes as a result of dominating gt1 cars in '98.

Probably referring to the teaser/hint on Instagram for that Mazda drifter.
Yes and maybe we get the 787 too ☺
We still get one Car Pack, 3 Free Cars and 2 Track Expansions.

One Track Expansion seems now logical will include Classic Spa, Monza and Bannochbrae.

The other will have Macau, at least if we go after the old season pass leak. And those track expansions so far all came with car packs.

So still a lot of cars coming.

Im 🤬 🤬 now. Is there a way to stop the crew from adding fuel when I just wanna change tyres? No matter what option I choose it fills up the entire tank again and I lose atleast 10 sec cause of this.

Odd, I put it on the same amount I have (so it says 0.0 seconds added) and it doesn't happen. This after downloading the DLC?

Yep. I had this even with 5.0.
I figured now that if i create a pit strategy it works but it doesn't work if I do it just via the pit menu where I can select separate tires fuel etc.

Thats really annoying and shouldn't happen. And yes I pushed the confirmation button when I got out of that menu.

Yeah, a bit odd it isn't on Steam yet. Normally the DLC doesn't show on the game's store page initially, but without the actual name of the DLC you can't search for it.

That's a pity but different tastes for different people. I have just finished my first run through the new cars and circuits and all I have to say is... Wow. What an amazing expansion.

Yeah, 1970 is pretty much where I draw the line of what I find appealing in terms of race cars and motorsports. I'm pretty meh on everything before 1970, and 70's is where my interest begins. For road cars it's 1960.

I've little interest in the classic cars, although if I could drive them well/if they handled well I might change that stance. All about the tracks for me.

I need your help guys.

I need one of you to grab me a few photos of the new DLC. Preferrably the 49C at Rouen, no particular reason other than that's the first thing that came to mind.

The tracks are nothing short of fantastic (and that's just from what I remember from a year and half ago!)...shocked people don't see the appeal in having more tracks to run, age be damned.

PS: I totally get the car argument, even if I'm of a different opinion...personally I don't get any joy out of modern hyper-race cars like the LMP-1 class rides, but I do suck in the really old race cars so far too. I was hoping one of these old Lotii would be a bit slower, something I could actually drive!

I'm not much interested in classic cars but I think the tracks are worth the price.

I just love the transition from a narrow road to a wide road at Rouen when you going down that long straight. It can make for some great battles.

Oh my god, i just took the McLaren GT3 around Rouen and that car and track combination is incredible. I put down almost 15 laps in practice.

The tracks are nothing short of fantastic (and that's just from what I remember from a year and half ago!)...shocked people don't see the appeal in having more tracks to run, age be damned.
I had never driven Rouen until 2h ago but it is a wonderful circuit that I am so happy to have finally tried. Looking at the map, for the full circuit, it looks really simple but it is deceptively difficult due to the mix of off-camber corners, elevation changes and a couple of blind turns. I have had a few sessions end with a classic Lotus in the slight ditch with a wheel 100m away. Challenging but enjoyable.

Hockenheim and Silverstone Classics are great additions to what is already a superb roster. I think SMS should change the loading screens for them from the modern circuits to the appropriate Classic images. It feels wrong without an image of the proper circuit.

The Lotus Type 51 Indy car is tough to drive due to the crazy torque which allows it to hit 330kmh+ with a 2-Speed gearbox. The wave of low torque keeps catching me out.

Trying to take my tuned 12C round Rouen, and I have previously saved the setup in my garage to 'all circuits', yet when i start practice my tune isn't loaded, the stock setup is there instead. Any ideas/suggestions?

EDIT: The tune saved for Hockenheim classic but not for Rouen or Silverstone Classic. Can someone confirm the game has saved their tunes for these circuits?

EDIT 2:
Still no joy. I select track, go to my garage, load setup, save, back out, select different track, my saved tune is there, go back to Rouen and there's no setup to edit so have to reload and yet it's still not saving. Am I missing something?
