I don't even know what Mercedes that is...but what's important is that it's the first license we've seen expanded beyond what they announced when they first obtained licenses. There have been some new brands/new cars...but I think this may be the first car added to the initial license.

That's huge to me, personally. It means we can start to hope for more Fords, more Audis, etc. I was afraid we'd be stuck with initial licensed vehicles and we could only hope for further licenses.

Curious, is that interior used in a new DTM machine also, or no? While it's neat, I'm okay with not having more GT3 machines, we really, REALLY need to flesh out some other series.
 
SMS you better make that Renault RS.01 a GTE car and reclassify the BMW M3 GT2 and Aston V8 GTE as GTE as well. A set of proper GTE and GT3 classes would be nice.

Edit: And to those complaining: "Oh but it'd only be 3 different cars!"...tell me...how many manufacturers were in GTE-Pro in the WEC this year? 3. Aston, Fezza, Super-Beatle (4 at Le Mans only with the addition of the Corvette). PCARS would have Aston, Bimmer, Renault. Seems fair does it not? :sly:

Wouldn't it far too slow to be a GTE?! Perhaps Touring is a more realistic approach??
Anyway, this Renault pack is looking to be one of the more interesting DLC's, definitely can't wait!! :lol:

Also loving the prospect of the AMG GT GT3 - looking forward to driving it in both PCars and Driveclub (albeit very different experiences!)

It had to be given steel brakes, a lot of ballast and some aero changes to be in a GT3 category in France...I think it's more than qualified. :P It's not fast enough for GT1X, so I'm hoping maybe they'll restrict the engine for GTE.

Renault is probably going to force the car into the specs that replicate the one make series.

Took that pic at this at this year's Goodwood FoS, fantastic car!! Let's hope we get this in the near future! Sounds absolutely brutal with its twin-turbocharged V8!!! :drool:

That car is a beast in Driveclub, you're lucky to have heard that thing for real though! :drool:

McLaren! Stop being all high and mighty about your license and GIVE US THAT CAR!

What needs massive fixing is to define which groups you wanna drive in a multi class event. It really can't be that difficult. Pick Group, pick how many cars of that group and go. Thats one of the biggest issues for me with that game.

People at the official forums have suggested something similar to weather slots, you choose multiclass, pick between 2-4 class slots, choose a class for each, and the game fills up each slot with the appropriate cars.
Best option though would be to be able to choose car for each AI opponent, not only we could create proper multiclass races but that also would enable players to create a variety of scenarios, including track days.
 
Is it the GT3 or GTLM variant? The lights in the SMS post are not the same as the ones on the GTLM shot, so I am hoping it is indeed the GT3... Makes much more sense in pCARS given the other GT cars available.
