That means it's the superior GTE and we'll get an actual GTE class when it comes out!!!!
We currently have the M3 and Aston GTE cars, so this would be the third, yes? Enough to split into a separate class, which would be good since it would remove the M3 from the GT3 class: it feels a bit strange seeing it mixing in with the GT3 stuff....That means it's the superior GTE and we'll get an actual GTE class when it comes out!!!!
I can't think of many cars that could come from the Corvette licence. A Daytona prototype and a couple road cars. I'm probably a bit ignorant tho.Screw the Corvette...just the fact that it means they have some Chevrolet licensing going on behind the scenes is intriguing to me.
No that's about it probably. GM does tend to treat Corvette as it's own brand really.I can't think of many cars that could come from the corvett licence. Daytona prototype and maby a couple road cars. I'm probably a bit ignorant tho.
These cars won't be here until the next wave of DLC. So the stuff after the first year!Mercedes GT3 and Chevy GT3? Holy damn.
Last month's DLC was not so good in my opinion. This one makes up for the next three.
Edit: The only thing I can think of that would be better, is getting them as road cars. But as that doesn't seem to be happening, I'll be fine with this.
No kidding, the only roadcars I've driven are the Pagani Zonda and McLaren P1.What's the apeal of road cars? Not many people race them so I assume it's wasted content.
So the license could be one of three things:
1) Corvette only license (a couple of race cars)
2) Chevrolet licence (more cars...)
3) GM license (even more cars)
Remember, Cadillac is a GM brand, so you have the Cadillac quasi-GT3 car:
Their ill-fated (ill-timed?) LeMans effort:
Expanding w/ more GMs, you could see a GT4 Camaro (even though the rules this year screwed them)
Any iteration of their NASCAR vehicles which would draw a large crowd with the ovals
The Chevrolet Daytona Prototype (one which hugely intrigues me)
Some WTCC/BTCC options
And then of course, historical options. So it could be a big license...or we're just getting on or two Corvettes.

Let's hope we don't have to wait until PCars 2 for it!!! Probably my favourite GTE car.Yup its the 2014 Corvette C7R GTLM for sure

Here's a vid of it in action during the 24 hours of Daytona that I found on YouTube:
I think you guys are expecting too much. On SMS instagram, it was said that we would get more GT3 cars. Within a week, teasers of the AMG GT3 and the C7R ( 🤬 yeah, best murrican racecar ever because RRRRRROAAARRRR). Remember, SMS has very limited funds compared to T10/PD, so I would be very, very surprised to see them get such huge licenses and have the manpower still allocated to pcars1 to get all those cars done in time. My best guess would be that after the Renault and Oval DLCs, we will get another historic pack if we re lucky and then a pack of 4-5 GT3 cars.
