I gotta say, the Corvette is a big disappointment...
The Indycar is less than stable round there as well. I've already seen plenty of 2-wheel action in just a couple of races. They seem to have quite a sticky rear end too...
Also I'm sure a recent game had an update to allow external sounds in car, but I can't remember which one. It's a good idea though.
Yes they're definitely better round turn 3 where before you could catch them easily there, now the whole track offers more challenge, SMS did well there (or rather just dialled out the poor behaviour). I think just the general 2-wheels in the air AI moves are so unrealistic they should eliminate it at all tracks.Strange in that after update 9, AI cars were better behaved round RA. They were much better around turn three.
I also found driver cars were perceptively better around Rd. Am. It felt better in corners in and out.
Something to look into.
Its Driveclub that has the option of using external car sounds in interior view.Gran Turismo 6 it probably is.
230 mph is about what they run at Indy with all of the aero drag basically trimmed off. So that speed isn't realistic for Road Courses. IndyCars are simplified F1 cars (less complex aero, tire grip not quite as developed, 550-700 HP).The Indycar feels so ridiculously fast and nimble, and the top speed is way higher than the Formula B, yet I was putting in slower lap times than the FB. Think I'm going to enjoy tuning this one up to see what it can really do. Although surely that 232mph (I think) is a little OTT for most tracks. Does it just have that much power for when they stick the oval kit on? Anyone know what kind of speeds these cars do round the road circuits?

Wasn't aware this was available in gt6. It use to be my daily game... until Pcars hit the shelves.GT6 definitely did it before Driveclub though. I think the option is a good one. Sound is certainly better in Driveclub than GT6. Either way it's something that needs to be requested for Project Cars 2 as we're not getting new features in Project Cars now.

One of those things that maybe not utterly realistic but hell in a game its got to be worth it, at least an option, outside view is sublime on PCars shame i never run that view.
I just realized I have two duplicate DLC bits in my "gift" inventory. If anyone on Steam wants the Limited Edition Upgrade, and the Old vs. New Car Pack - post in this thread, and then PM me your Steam ID. First response to this thread gets them.
Free of charge.
I'm in the U.S., so if that causes any issues (I don't know how Steam works in most other countries) just beware.
I'd love to see the Peugeot 908 LMP1 in PCars.

looks like two ???s between r and p, any ideas??? they said real cars on IG today
Last month the ? was before Alpine and we got Aston Martin, so Mercedes AMG GT3 is definitely a possibility. Here's hoping the "M" is more Mazdas and not more Mareks. The "P" or "R" is a bit more confusing. But, be reminded that the Aston Martin GT12 had a question mark at the beginning of the A's and ended up dead last, so the actual placement of the "?" is limited to the alphabet and is not in any real order.
EDIT: Could well be the "Mercedes" AMG GT3 then?
3 x 4 = 12, thus GT12Nonsense, it's an Aston Martin GT7.

Bump, since no one claimed either of these...
I felt the same thing. I drove the ATS-V first and thought it felt pretty good, but the Corvettefeels like it has no grip at all.
Haven't tried the Fusion yet, but the Indycar seems to suffer from a fair bit of understeer...
I found that compared to the lovely FR3.5 the Indycar has minimal understeer IMO, it has a very different turn-in probably due to the sway bars being set up the other way round. I thought there would be a crazy rear end but it all feels pretty stable. Will try the GT3 cars later.I felt the same thing. Is the Old vs New Car Pack still up for grabs? Happens to be one of the few packs I haven't purchased yet.
