Most interested in the Mercedes AMG GT3. Sure its on driveclub but in a game like this, its much more preferred. Also:

Is there any ****ing diffence between the Zonda R's? It's only got more power.

Well:

- 62 More Horsepower (from 738 to 800)
- Two-mode DRS System
- A lighter magnesium 6-Speed Gearbox
- Renewed ABS and Traction control system developed by Bosch

Any other questions? ;)

I personally (please its my opinion no point trying to change my mind or call me names or say i'm a loser or whatever, i don't like Nurb, is that OK with you?) find the Nurb the most over rated track in the world, everyone bangs on about it all the time
I agree. I run for the hills whenever it shows up in a lobby. Its very, very trendy to just luuurve the Nord'

I bloody don't :yuck:

I find most people who dont like it tend to be no good at it, and that's usually because of the sheer size of the circuit, there's a lot to learn, then even more to learn to be fast, whereas the average 5km circuit can be learnt quickly then improved upon faster, I found it really hard to learn but GT5, as well as Pcars offer the opportunity to learn the track in segments, that's what I found best, I've been lapping the Nurburgring regularly for the last 5 years across GT5/6 and now pcars, I can get around the track comfortably fast without falling off, though I'm still no where near what the optimum pace is, but still every year the online N24 comes along and I find that I've found another second or two it makes it feel worth while,

One of the biggest selling points for me with this game was the fact that some of the tracks we haven't seen at all or for a while in a game were coming, Cadwell Park, Road America, Macau just to name a few, and I'm sad there isn't more street tracks,

I cant say that I hate a circuit specially for any real reason, other then I hate them because I am bored of them, Silverstone, Monza, Laguna Seca and dare I say Bathurst and Spa Francorchamps seem to be basic staples in all racing games, they aren't bad circuits by no means and I certainly wouldn't want to lose them from any roster but c'mon guys there are so many other great circuits that range from international tracks like Abu Dhabi, Misano, Zandvoort, to national and club tracks like Croft, Winton and Portland that kinda always get overlooked,

EDIT: I hate Willow Springs, thats a yawn fest and a half....

I used to despise the hell out of it. "Who the 🤬 races on a track this long??!!" "Who's the goddamn masochist that designed this death trap??!!" Those were just some of the expletives I shouted in hate towards it. It wasn't until I finally completed a lap in the license test and then did the 4 Hour race on GT4 that I then begin to change my mind abit (Did so good, I actually managed to blow away most of the field in a GT4 Group C Series). Then with GT5, I ended up loving it and still do. That all said of course, I never understood the shunning of people that don't like it. I hate street circuits that aren't Long Beach, Toronto or Monaco and I've yet to have people come after me. I actually don't care too much for Cadwell park but I'm not getting people with torches and pitchforks who want my head.

I think those people that do this need to be reminded of two things:

1. to each his own. Everyone has a opinion, deal with it.
2. Its a game, not a cult.

*gasp* how dare you like a F1 track "Real" F1 fans don't like.

@RACECAR, Abu Dhabi is a horrible circuit for F1, mainly because F1 in its current form is a shambles but mainly because of the over complicated layout used, though the V8 supercar and GT races that have happened there have been epic, Id love to see the WEC visit that track,

I was about to like your post but then you insulted Willow Springs. HOWDAREYOU?!? :grumpy: *runs to get pitchfork*

I was mocking the general attitude towards this and Bahrain. People don't even care that it hosts race other then F1, they just hate it with a passion that rivals Bahrain.

The biggest track I want them to add is Road Atlanta!!! If it gets added then I'd be the happiest PCars fan alive!! I'd host the Petit Le Mans every night after work for multi class races lol. That track right there is the ONLY reason I bought and Xbox One was so I could buy Forza 6 just to race on Road Atlanta!! As for my car I just want them to add the #93 and/or #94 Dodge SRT Viper!! Those one track and one car would make my WORLD!! But I agree with others that they should add all the GTLM cars from Tudor United SportsCar Championship and some of the GTD cars. I wouldn't mind seeing some DP cars and Some of the LMP1 cars from America. But if that's just add Road Atlanta and the SRT Vioer I'd be happy lol. I really love PCars as it seems to be the most realistic racer besides Gran Turismo! Happy to finally have a realistic racer for consoles beside Gran Turismo for once! Sorry for such a long post btw

I think the "Ring" actually does have a cultish following. It's place as the car manufacturer hot lapping, car testing course du jour is at the heart and soul of the following. (IMHO)

But all the talk is about how fast a particular car can "get around the ring". Not who won the last race.

Personally I am fascinated by Nurburgring. Because the Green Hell name assigned to it is accurate.
Not the GP or N24 section or Sprint. The Green Hell. There are only a few safe places to pass.
Every other corner is off camber. I learned it back in GT4. I know it well, but I am not a master of it.

I think it is the ultimate "Hot Lap" venue. Way too narrow for side by side racing.
There are so many more tracks that (again IMHO) offer more excitement racing vs. other gamers or decent AI.

I do think getting round the ring in respectable time (according to what you are driving) is a true test of simulated driving skill. But to race, I'd rather have SMS add Sebring.

To me the Nurburgring has always been a "hotlap" location or an endurance spectacle...it's terrible as a race-track. I don't mind driving it at all, but if I want a good racing scrap, it's at the bottom of my list.

Allow me to be the first to go after you :D

I definitely agree with you about Toronto. Fantastic circuit that flys under the radar a bit.

Longbeach though...is average at best in my opinion. The fountain complex and the the hairpin complex are incredibly slow, and usually cause the most insane traffic jams you've ever seen....see PWC from last year as an example. I actually much prefer St Pete over Longbeach. St Pete has much more variety of corners. T3 is a high speed right hander that puts you right up to the wall on exit. The back straight features a high speed kink that is very dangerous if things go wrong (Will Power in practice for Indycar). T11 & 12 are a high speed S, not very common on modern street circuits. And T13/14 is a long, sweeping corner with a variety of lines through it, again rare of street circuits.

As far as those being the only 3 you like....what about Albert Park, Adelaide, Villa Real, Pao, Montreal, Buenos Aries, Putrajaya, and of course the all mighty Macau??? Don't forget Isle of Mann either ;)

I think mistakes like that just happen either with drivers that shouldn't be there (Remember the pile of penalties the year before) or with cars that shouldn't be there (Like Grand Am's attempt). The thing about Long Beach that I like over many others is that it has a layout that isn't snail's pace slow, something a lot of these new Street circuits are missing, along with the all too common typical F1 recipe of too many damn tight corners (Because that's apparently what a street circuit is to these people that seem to have never watched a race on one of the classics). Literally the slowest corner on it is the final one. Apart from that, everywhere else is point and shoot. Same goes for Toronto and now that I think about it, St.Pete. I also like the fact that it has elevation changes (along with Monaco), which to me adds variety from the typical, characterless flatness that is present at places like Houston (Sorry JohnBM01, but its just not all that great to me).

I always thought Albert park was a road course so if it is a Street Circuit, that's the first time I'm aware of it. I do like it, even though it doesn't seem to like me  Montreal is again another one that comes off more like a actual circuit then a Street Circuit. I love it as well, though I always feel like its too short for some reason. Macau is just..madness. I just cannot grasp what is basically a composition of claustrophobia, its like the designer was the most mental sadist. As for the others, I never actually seen them so I don't really have much of an opinion on them. All in all, I was basically comparing all these recent F1 and Indycar Street circuits that just bore me to the ones I said that I liked.

Just to clarify, are you saying that's a good thing, or a bad thing? I think you're saying its a good thing, but not sure.

Both Albert Park and Montreal are partially on public roads. The circuits are built and dismantled each time they are used, just like any other street circuit. If you watch a race at Albert Park, notice all the white lines on the road surface? Those are all traffic lanes.

As for the others :)

Adelaide

Vila Real

Pau (sorry I spelled it wrong before)

Buenos Aires

Putrajaya

Come to think about it, I'd put Detroite's Belle Isle on the list of good street circuits as well.

And another one, the Kuala Lumpur City Circuit

Just to clarify, are you saying that's a good thing, or a bad thing? I think you're saying its a good thing, but not sure.

I'm saying its a good thing, no one is ever stuck in peddling around a unnecessarily sharp corner.

Ah, it all makes sense now. I thought it was just something done for the track.

Well, i just wanted in the game two urban tracks.

The first one is Macau, and the second one is Surfers Paradise.

And in the normal track list i really wish seen the French Magny Cours track , zaandvoort and Aragon motorland

Motorland :

Surfers Paradise :

Magny Cours :

Surfers Paradise is exactly the kind of street circuit I dont like at all. Nothing but chicanes and 90° corners. That Villareal track looks bloody amazing though. Also always loved Macau and Pau.

As for US city tracks, I kinda like Long Beach and somehow I always had a weak spot for St. Petersburg. There is always some good racing action there:

Dream squashing edit: I sincerely hope y'all dont really think any of these city tracks will come as DLC for pcars1 though. They are way too much work, according to the devs, it is usually 2-3 times as much as a regular track, due to all the detail.

For me, the Nurburgring is an incredible endurance circuit, Gran Turismo's tires and fuel usage kinda took that away for properly long runs, but still the emulated the rest of it well, its a track that makes racing anything shorter then an hour of time redundant, but over an hour or longer is worth while, I've learnt so much about patience in race craft in both attacking and defending position I dont believe I can measure it, and I've been able to apply those mentalities to other disciplines of online racing, because its so narrow you cant pounce hard on someone that has half a moment in a corner like you can at other circuits, you really have to plan your overtakes 5 corners or more ahead for the majority of the time, or alternatively out strategize them with cheeky pit stops,
