Is it just GP Track + Nordschleife combined or a specific version (VLN, 24h)?

At 25.32KM in length I would believe that it is the N24 layout of the GP circuit, I cant remember the length of the VLN layout but its definitely under 25KM,

that was unexpected

but gimma more :bowdown::bowdown:

Honestly, what's left from the leaked content that hasn't been put in/ been removed from the projected content, only the Ford Focus BTCC and some suspected Nissans?

Still hoping for the ovals though,

Edited my post with this.

At least I think it has (been confirmed). Someone posted an image of a response in the official site DLC Tease thread. However I can't find the source so it might not be official yet. Still, there might be hope for ovals) and maybe other tracks. Wasn't there also talk of a Red Bull pack?

Its hard to keep track of what's been dropped, I fully expect 12 months of DLC as they said when they cut it back, so its fair to expect another 2 patches with DLC content after this one, though with how much was cut and what remains of the initial leaked content is hard to keep track of,

I believe there was speculation of a Red Bull pack including the RedBull ring (A1 Ring) and with the building of the oval spec IndyCar I still expect at least 1 oval,

I'm hopeful of a Nissan pack because the 370Z GT4 and the GTR GT3 would round off those classes quite nicely with a GTR GT500 as well would round up another aspect of racing though the GT500 is doubtful due to the lack of Japanese tracks,

A Ferrari pack would be lovely with a 430 GT2 and 458 GT3/ GTE, again that would round up the GT3 class quite nicely, though its wishful thinking,

But you could classify future patches as DLC, so maybe this is what is meant by more DLC, but i hope i'm wrong of course....More cars and tracks please!!

Ian stated a while back they were in talks with Ferrari regarding licences for Pcars 2, and no way will they step on the sequels toes by releasing such a big name on Pcars 1 when nobody is buying it anymore.

Not sure where those Nissans have come from, but I'm guessing that's just more of a wishlist at that point.

The speculation around what a "Red Bull" DLC pack could contain was exactly that: speculation. As it turns out, we got the Rad Bull MX5, and the reason the pack was re-named was likely due to SMS not getting any more licenced Red Bull content. If they had it, it would have been released with Rad Bull.

As for the ovals, Ian has stated on more than one occasion they aren't coming. Initially he revealed they were hoping to release them as online only, due to issues getting the AI to work properly (even though they mostly don't on any other courses anyway). He later revealed SMS weren't able to release the tracks if they weren't to be used in offline races, because something to do with the licencing agreements they had signed was preventing them doing so. With this in mind, expect the oval content in Pcars 2.

With all the oval content dropped and 2015 Indycar season content dropped with it, coupled to the dropping of half of the historic tracks, and a few other cars, there really isn't much left that we know about. Any more content is likely stuff that's been licenced since after the game came out, and therefore hasn't been shown to anyone outside SMS. As for what that hypothetical content may be, that's anyone's guess.

Please take it with a truckload of salt but according to the official instagram, there is more DLC coming after Aprils Pagani Nürburgring thing.

Yes, that's what I'd seen too but I back tracked a little as I couldn't find the source of that post.? It's not from Instagram but Facebook. Definitely still there though.

I wouldn't let anyone get their hopes up about Ferrari.

It will be interesting to see what we get.

I think Ovals might still a very remote possibility. Personally I'd prefer any non oval Circuit like Red Bull Ring but will be happy to drive ovals if we do get some. I think if they're going to do them they should be real life ovals. I think SMS should be moving heaven and earth to get them in. Maybe they're trying to and that's why we've not seen so much work in the last couple of updates.

If there is more DLC I'll be genuinely curious as to what it will be.

I fully expect it to not be any of the new marques for PCars2 (so, no Nissan, no Lambo etc.). I'd expect more sneaky add-ons to current manufacturers (much like the new Merc GT3 which was unexpected). I'd argue you could do a lot with the Chevrolet/Cadillac bits --- even if they only licensed Corvette and not all of Chevrolet). My guess would be small 3-4 car packs, piece meal bits added to current ranges.

Likely one track, or possible an oval or two if they end up fixing them. I don't expect big or amazing things. You can probably bet on some small time random high-end street cars (like that god awful Lykan or whatever).

What about a pure track pack as then next DLC? There is the Red Bull Ring, Ovals and/or the Indy and Daytona infield course left. They all haven't been ruled out completely, have they?
On the other side there are no new cars at all anybody knows of or have been hinted at. A few unreleased cars like the Ford BTCC have long been ruled out and replaced.
So with a couple of tracks potentially still in the pipeline and probably no cars left, a track pack is a possibilty for me, at least slightly.

I'm kinda curious if they will still add the oval version of the IndyCar still even though the chances of ovals coming is really slim. I remember that was in the files not to long ago.

I'll gladly pay £2.89 for track pack with all the above. :sly:

I don't see a reason for that. If there won't be ovals, there won't be oval spec IndyCars. What would you do with it? You already have the road course version for everything that is in the game right now.

Still hoping for the ovals though,

Not the Nissan but there is another Lotus Indycar confirmed on the old announcement, Lotus 56 that was planned but never released. Possibly scrapped along with the ovals.
