Those cars would be awesome love the Toyota Minolta car would be a good addition to have as it is a Group C car to go along with the Sauber C9, the TS020 would be great and would be another addition to the LMP900 class

TS020 would have been under GT1 category, would have loved to see that car in the game nonetheless.

Everyone who is upset about the 86/frs thing, I wouldn't worry too much because they didn't have to model more than one car to do it, so time that is used for making other cars wasn't really wasted.

I'm not complaining if this car pack charges for 4 cars rather than 8 :)

btw only 4 unique cars (1 of them free) is the same as the other track packs = Macau confirmed for October? :D

Because the kit is universal and made to work on the FR-S or GT86. Since both cars are IDENTICAL, it works with either car. It even can be fitted to a Subaru BR-Z! Another clone of the same thing.

The BRZ does have different front lights, surrounding bodywork and I think air ducts. It also has a different suspension setup.

So this was filmed at a session to help the physics guys research tyres under extreme pressure see comment below).

It's for the "next interation" of their tyre model. I wonder if this next tyre model will be coming in Project Cars or Project Cars 2.

projectcarsgameToday the Project Cars physics team spent some time at Irwindale Speedway with@ryantuerck doing ride alongs. Our goal: understanding the forces at play on tyres during the state of extreme driving. This research will feed back into the next iteration of our tyre model.

While I'm not at all enthused with the GT-esque "let's release several versions of the same car"...if the DLC is priced as usual $3.50-$5.50...I'll just grunt and move along. I have zero interest in the Rocket Bunny cars, but I hope they're smart enough to make them drift-capable but allow for road-circuit versions as well. More cars are more cars. None of the lancers are repeats so I'm fine with that.

The hybrid Toyota...meh, I don't do enough LMP1 races to worry much about it. As a whole, definitely my least favourite pack (and a poor showing how to introduce the brands - Toyota has a wealth of fantastic cars they could have/should have gone with).

Look! It is the TS040-HYBRID!!!

Like what? Some older cars perhaps, but there's not much to get excited about in the current lineup of Toyota road / race cars. Apart from Nascar they've got no touring cars, no sportscars, no GT cars, no Formula 1, no WRC... LMP1 is about it.

And Toyota haven't made an exciting road car since the Supra (and that includes the GT86). In fact that may be the only exciting road car they have ever produced...

Toyota has a lot of race cars in their history to make up for what's lacking in the current lineup. I'm guessing Toyota didn't allow the licensing on a lot of cars, and even Assetto Corsa seems to also have a short list of Toyota cars licensed also.
