Why 5? The two Rocket Bunny are not the same as the stock one. Also, we don't even know yet if the two Rocket Bunny are the same. I've noticed that there is one with a banner in the front window, not sure if it means anything.

So as of now, there are 3 cars that are nearly the same, but if they sell it for the price of 1 car, I'm ok with that.
i mean the scion and the gt86 are the same if they are the road cars. I' be happy if they made one of them into a gt300 car or something so they are not the same thing. The rb looks cool but its still so similar to me

We don't need the Scion and Toyota, it's the EXACT SAME THING (like RHD vs LHD is a big deal for a car in a video game on a racetrack...it isn't). And nobody go on this "but the Rocket Bunny kits are different", no they aren't. They're both...THE SAME. It's as pointless as the ridiculous amount of Miatas and GT-R "variants" in GT4/5/6. At least the Lancer repeats are trying to be different (standard and high performance versions).

Rant? Maybe, but please...the GT86 and FR-S are exactly the same ****ing thing.

The racing icons pack was the best. Now they seem to be getting worse.

2 great GT1 cars, 1 decent GT3 car and some cracking LMP900s! Compaird to some of the newer car packs this is so much better!!

The only reson the New V Old is on my HDD is because its so cheep! The actual content was poor.

Any one agree?

That pack was great but I don't completely agree. Personally I have had the most fun out of the New v Old pack over everything in the game except the Group 5 cars. I love both BMWs and both RUFs, especially the Yellowbird.

We all like different things. I do enjoy the different packs as there's normally something for everyone. I tend to drive the ones I'm most interested in first but still get a lot out of the variety of the packs. However, I'm also looking forward to the IndyCar pack when that comes all at once.

As for the next pack I'm not a big "fan" of the cars that will be in it, particularly the Toyota hybrid and the Mitsubishis. A lot of Japanese cars leave me a bit cold. That's not because they're dull or bad to drive but due to the Gran Turismo overload. In this game I'm sure they'll have much more character to the handling and sound. I just don't get the same anticipation for driving the TS040 in the game as I do the older more characteristic and noisier prototype cars (like the Sauber and Dell BMW). However, clearly it's popular with some. While it doesn't get my blood pumping I will buy it and will probably still enjoy it.

Edit: In the end the more cars the merrier. The 86 and FRS being seperate models I have no problem with especially if they have different liveries to each other. The left and right hand options make a difference to me as I use cockpit view so they're a bonus as long as things are priced accordingly

Do you mean that the Rocket Bunny is the same as the stock one? Because it's not.
No I said that the FR-S and GT86 are the same EXACT car. As for the kits, yes, I know those are not stock cars (read my post again), but they are both identical to eachother except one has a Scion badge, and one has a Toyota badge. The FR-S is just the American market GT86, it's just a rebadge of the Toyota version! There is no point to having both the Scion and Toyota.

LHD and RHD are not a big enough difference to have both in a video game....let alone on a racetrack. I've driven a lot of different race and road cars over the years (GT3/4/5/6 and this, plus the GRIDs and F1 games), and the LHD and RHD make no difference to me (only the Mclaren F1 jars me as being in a closed cockpit car driving in the middle is unusual). I drive in the cockpit cam and honestly it's become old hat to me. Within the first lap you get adjusted to where your sitting.

Because the kit is universal and made to work on the FR-S or GT86. Since both cars are IDENTICAL, it works with either car. It even can be fitted to a Subaru BR-Z! Another clone of the same thing.

I know that they look pretty much the same, but if it isn't the same spec, it isn't the same car.

From what I've tried digging up, they're both the same spec of car. It's just a universal kit so any GT86/FR-S/BR-Z owner can not worry about their car being compatible.

I know that "Rocket Bunny" is pretty much only a body kit, but it doesn't mean that the car wasn't modified in any other ways. Anyway, let's wait and see.

Don't the 86 cars come with various performance options? Different brakes or maybe tires? They are the same, but I'm sure they can be modeled in a variety of ways to reduce similarities.

You're clutching at straws now... The GT86, FR-S and BR-Z are the same car. Not just because they look the same, but because they were co-developed by Toyota and Subaru. Same chassis, same body, same engine, same brakes, same suspension etc. etc.

Yes you could argue that they are a different spec because one has alcantara seats and one has different stitching on the steering wheel, but if you want to go down that path we will end up with another Gran Turismo (which has no doubt been brought up in previous posts)

GT86 = 86 = FR-S
GT86 Rocket Bunny ≠ FR-S Rocket Bunny

That's what I'm saying. The two Rocket Bunny might not have the same spec as we have no idea how they have been modified in the game. For example, one might have a turbo, but not the other one.

I have always enjoyed the GT86 / BR-Z in GT6 as you have to drive the goolies off it to compensate for the lack of power. It is a joy at Nordschleife. I am looking forward to it in PCars but we all know what car will dominate proceedings for me. TS040-HYBRID!!!

You could be right, I have no idea about the Rocket Bunny kits.
