There are 5 question marks between Gumpert & Lotus, I'm guessing a classic track expansion with some Lotus open-wheels next month.

That teaser screams Lotus 49C to me.

I will say, with the current DLC and stuff we know is coming...that's almost everything that PCars had announced at launch. That being said, unless PCars 2 is really PCars 1.5 and it comes out in a year and a half, I think it's safe to say that SMS will continue to bring out DLC...but perhaps not every month.

If PCars 2 is actually a good 2-3 years out, I don't see SMS dropping support for PCars 1 DLC, I just expect a couple of DLCs per year or so. The Japanese Cars pack was a pleasant surprise because a lot of it was all rumours for a long time --- this makes me more hopeful that there are more licenses in the works.

In addition, PCars 1 has been successful enough that they can show something to manufacturers now, and we may see a few additional license procurred now that it isn't a risk. The manufacturers can see the sales numbers, play the game etc.

We shall see.

As I'm not a fan of the road cars I might just pass on this pack. Be nice to hear what they handle like though. Of course we should be able to drive these online even without purchasing the DLC so I may head there. I just can't see myself driving most of those cars.

Really hope to see the track packs soon.
Watching some vid the road cars seem to handle as bad as the rest of them.

Please post a link to back up that statement, though I think I may have seen something unofficial regarding Lamborghini for Pcars #2,
Was about 2 months ago he was talking about it...cannae be bothered looking for it but your more than welcome to now you know the timescale.

I think I was just in a similar room but with the Rocket Bunny GT86. I came here hoping to find out where this was from, but I'm guessing it's the latest DLC...which isn't available in North America yet? I can't find anything in my PS Store.

The 86 looks and sounds pretty good. Handling was a little...weird. Needs some help for sure. It's a GT4 car though, so it's nice to see another car added to that field. No down force like the Boss 302.

Yeah I was in a UK room earlier today and tried it,little tail happy, but fun.

It took them long enough but, I really have been enjoying this DLC. I love the sucker punch-like acceleration of the TS040 and the fact that you're able to actually drift the FR-S Rocketbunny with a DS4.

I did a Le Mans race and noticed that the Toyota TS040 AI transmission makes them super competitive out of the corners but they struggle on the straights (the car for the AI tops out at 180mph while the other LMP1s can go 188+)

Yes. The Toyota is great at tracks with lots of braking and accelerating. The car is all about gaining speed out of corners.

You are definitely at a disadvantage in Monza, Zhuhai or Le Mans, Spa probably too

The TS040 is quick so far. I've been able to run a couple of 3:25.xx laps just fiddling around with it at Le Mans. It's a bit touch and go. Feels like the e-tron did when it first came out if only a couple of tenths quicker out the box with minimal tuning. I feel like I can get a couple of more seconds out of it. Right now my goal is getting it down to 3:23.xx then trying for 3:21.xx or even lower. I certainly haven't found its limit.

I know it does have a disadvantage in the top speed area but it has great downforce. Even with 0/0 wings it can take the Porsche Curves almost flat out.

So I'm loving the TS040 although its ugly as hell compared to the TS030, I like it much better than the Audi. The GT4 86 is nice. Im a tad annoyed about having 3 repeat cars (86, gt86, frs) why? And the evos are nice too although I'll probably never us them.

I drove the rocket bunny gt86, toyota 86 and the ts-040 and The ts-040 is sweet car to drive until you drive it in the rain. That is when the car becomes a bit terrifying. It is much faster then the ts-030. The rocket bunny is a good car to create skids and the 86 and very easy to drive.

Having driven them I will say I'm very pleasantly surprised. There are 2 race cars in there and both are great to drive. I wasn't overly excited by the addition of another LMP1 but I love the Toyota tS040. I'm surprised at how good this pack is. Every car in it is much better and more engaging to drive than I imagined they would be. The Evo's have reminded me how much better this game is than Gran Turismo. The GT4 rocket bunny (Scion?) and it's more powerful cousin make a great racket.

There are a couple of great nods to the past in the Toyota 86/Scion FRS liveries including the classic white top and black bottom of the Ae86

Looking forward to the tractor pack....
