Seems I have only got rid of half the problem.

The voice is fine but how do I get rid of static?

I can't find the microphone options. I am using Windows 8 and it seems a lot of things have moved to awkward places.

Ok found them. Lowered the boost to 0 and the base setting to 86. Hope this works, if it doesn't I really don't know what to do.

Try to mute all recording inputs that you do bot need.
If that doesn't work and you use the front panel microphone jack, try the rear one.

Now I have new problem .

My voice won't go over the engine of cars like the F.A if I don't have the horrible booster on.

I guess running sound at low in game will solve that?

Start the game. Alt-Tab to desktop. Go into the windows mixer (double click on the speaker icon in the lower right (if win8 still has it)) and look for the Project CARS volume slider and half it.

Also set pcars volumes at medium. At max and full it sounds like crap still, like its clipping. Especially if you use a X-Fi card.
A problem with X-Fi cards is that in game mode it messes up the sound as well due to the 64MB of X-Ram activating.

Ok found that. Having to go to 30 on the slider rather than half though. :scared:

Going to upload the video as unlisted when I am done and then I would appreciate it if you could give me any tips and ultimately tell me if it is ok to make public?

You have been helpful so thank you. :)

The main problem trying to find the sweet spot is that my headset really emphasises any sound to give a great level of detail and unfortunately any static in videos is also made louder so I find it hard to judge what is acceptable as some of the popular gaming YouTubers have a fair amount of static as well when listening to them. But when playing video through the TV speakers I hear no static and it is clearly acceptable as they have loads of subscribers.

Drop me a PM and I will get back at you asap. ;)
If the static is not noticeable on TV anymore I am sure its fine. Besides, you can't get rid of it completely without some professional equipment.
If the audio of the mic is too low than you can always click the boost again and just drop the volume. Whatever works better.

I use the Sennheiser PC360 headset after my Fatal1ty headset broke. The quality of the microphone on the Sennheiser isn't even comparable, that's how good it is. Clear, sensitive (read: can be used at low volume) and works in the perfect frequency range for speech.
Than again it was the Sennheiser headsets that gave the German Luftwaffe the upperhand in dogfights in WW2. So they know what they are doing as it goes back to their roots as a company.

Striping on the hood/roof indicate a German flag, while on the side it's the Belgian flag. Don't know if this is an oversight or for esthetic reasons.

Busted, mate!
(FLX81 told me they were here...)

Hi all forumers, it's Tommaso Rossato here. :)

Thanks for noticing the "mistake" about the stripes positioning,
but I don't know what to do.

I's an oversight (now that I notice that, when drawing I was sure it was ok)
and for esthetic reasons, I would leave it as it is. But I'd like your opinions too.

For sure it's a tribute to the German country.
Ciao ;)

As a German (:D) I'd just switch the yellow and red stripes, so that the flag is upside down (which would make sense, because of the black bottom).

It looks good this way, but yeah, it's a Belgium German mix. :D

Wow, I'm on a 1080p TV and these shots take a ton of scrolling to get through. Cool of them to upload such high-res ones.

Wouldn't it be more beneficial to post the pictures in a dedicated thread and share more information in this one?

Just saying...

New comparative Project Cars Vs Real life, I have added the new sound of the 2014 Mercedes formual1 so you can hear and see how it will be a return to Monza, I have added dynamic map so you can see where is the formual1 I hope you like it

a greeting

4K at 60 FPS with SLI Titans? Not too shabby for a game that's, as of yet, not optimized properly. And looks that good, of course. The game should be a breeze to run for SLI 780s on tripple monitors once it comes out 👍

Finally downloading the latest build via Steam.
I am wondering what I could possibly contribute though.

Nice one. I can really see the changes that Nic suggested coming together nicely like that.
It's missing some brake markers still though.
