RRE sound is just way better ATM... all the rasp of a real engine... crisp and brutal, pCARS is just too loud (like past the red zone sound limiter) and is more noise than engine tone, and for whatever reason, it still sounds too synthetic.

it is ridiculous how they dont accept feedback from the users when isnt a positive criticism.
i will take my money back. i cant be part of this project with this kind of people behind.
they are ignorant and intolerant.

Negative criticism is one thing, constructive criticism is another - and SMS have no obligation to accept negative criticism.

Don't like how something is in the game? Say why you (not you personally, "you" as in a general sense) don't like it and what you would change about it, instead of saying things like "this sucks I hate it it is stupid". Ian Bell and co aren't mindreaders, if people don't say why they don't like things in pCARS - as opposed to simply saying they don't - then how are they supposed to tweak, adjust, modify elements of the game to satisfy people?

It is how you put it across.

Don't just go this is rubbish.

Say I don't like this because of this and this and I think this is the best way to improve it.

Treed.

Thanks fellas 👍

A lil trivia... one pic of clouds shot in real-life, and another in-game...amazing engine, that's for sure!

The real question is who will have a pc that can use all these pretty graphics? As it stands now I don't think the new titan gpu can max out the graphics. Its nice they can make it look that good, but its useless if its only gonna be seen in pics and not while racing.

You're right, 1 TITAN can't max out this game...yet! It's still being optimized, and this shot was taken while racing, i just paused the game, and took this pic!

Also i have to be honest, i am using swfx settings to achieve that. But developers did say that they were planning to include some of the best injectors in released game.

Just out of interest, at the current development stage of the game, what settings would a 7870 play this game at? I would be playing at 1920 x 1080p. I know things will change in terms of optimization etc, but I just wondered as a reference point.

Its still a year until release, PC tech moves at an amazing pace. And even if most people cant max it out come release in 2014, this game is designed to be around minimum 2 years. Then most people should be able to play it at least near maxed out.

Besides, its not even optimized yet and I play it on a laptop on high/ultra settings with stable 50+ fps and it looks great. You dont need maxed out graphics in this game to enjoy it.

Meh, we've got a few guys around here who'd be able to max it (and then some), and come release, I'll be among those :sly:

On a more serious note: If the game looks fantastic on medium to high settings, that's great and it'll be what most people will enjoy. Having some headroom for graphical improvement is a great thing, though. It might take a few years for most gamers to catch up and max the game out, but that will at least allow them to play an even better looking game a few years after release (if SMS supports it well enough, that is). It's like Crysis, in a way. Looks stunning even when not maxed out, but will knock your socks off when it is. And it'll still be a yard stick for eye candy, even compared to newer games ;)

New video teaches comparative difference gran turismo Vs Project cars with the Zonda R in Monza in rain, I hope you enjoy.

Funny, the GT5 wet asphalt isn't reflective enough, the pcars wet asphalt is far too reflective. The reflections should be more dull and not as clear as a still lake.

Yeah i agree with the asphalt being too reflective, but hopefully by the time game releases that will be fixed!

Some more 4K photos!

Last night, I saw a video on YouTube with some commentary on Project CARS. I got to know a little more about this game. One thing I didn't know was that this game will come out not only on PC. In fact, I heard and read it will be on the PS3, XBOX 360, and Wii U (Nintendo can seriously use a sim racer unless Mario Kart is all they want). I also learned the game is based on a heavily modified version of the driving physics from the SHIFT games. So the guy who was commenting on this game doesn't think Project CARS is going to be anything spectacular since it's on current-gen consoles and is based on the SHIFT physics.

I haven't followed Project CARS too much to know what it will have to offer. I do, however, think this is going to be a pretty good game. It will no doubt be amazing to look at.
