Calm down! I wasn't on about November's release as clearly it wasn't in a good place then but a lot of guys were surprised with the latest release who have build access.

And it's not a as you say CONSPIRACY theory it was just a theory which I could see why they'd potentially do it IF it was the case!
Delaying a game for wheel support makes no sense. If it had already been released or about to be released they would have added it in a patch. They wouldn't delay it as you only end up in a worse financial situation. Which no one would want.

Completely unrelated question: whatever the photo mode looks like, is there a way to easily take pictures of the inside of cars?
Drive in cockpit view and hit the ps button to share! :D

;) I know what you mean, it was a serious question for gt, so I hope it's possible.

Congratz to Nic Hamilton getting a drive in the BTCC, so when is his Audi S3 getting added?

Playstation 2.5 update tomorrow will have Suspend/Resume feature. This will be very handy for doing WEC and of course 24hrs. cough! Le Mans.:)

http://blog.us.playstation.com/2015...te-2-50-available-tomorrow-features-detailed/

Suspend/Resume, which will be supported by nearly all PS4 titles, will allow PS4 owners to spend less time waiting for games to load and more time playing. Gamers will be able to suspend their game by putting their PS4 into Rest Mode, and then quickly resume the game where they left off by pressing the PlayStation button on the DualShock 4 wireless controller, which wakes their system.

I hope Project Cars has this supported. Maybe if some guys here who know the dev's can maybe ask. Much appreciated.

Does anyone know anything about potential personal statistics/record keeping features and detailed race results? The statistician in me is dearly hoping that your career results can be archived and returned to in full detail.

It might not seem like a big deal, but what racer doesn't like keeping track of their results and reliving great accomplishments? It's a small detail that can make a world of difference when it comes to immersion!

Nice idea and I would have liked this myself, but it's not in the game currently. It's a nice touch, but probably won't happen in the foreseeable future.

2

Shift 2 had good looking grid girls and it also had a PEGI 3 rating:

They had the renders, i wonder what happened to them as it isn't for the pegi rating...

Whoops, ok. Wouldnt have thought you d get a Pegi 3 with those cleavages and leather hotpaints. My bad! Then my assumption was wrong and it is just time/budget constrains. The animation team is still working on pit stops, after all.

PEGI 3
The content of games given this rating is considered suitable for all age groups. Some violence in a comical context (typically Bugs Bunny or Tom & Jerry cartoon-like forms of violence) is acceptable. The child should not be able to associate the character on the screen with real life characters, they should be totally fantasy. The game should not contain any sounds or pictures that are likely to scare or frighten young children. No bad language should be heard.

Damn what a shame. I know it might sound silly but could you raise the question on WMD? Maybe we can have Grid girl DLC for like a fiver. I would buy it :D

Careful opening that door. Standard grid girls in revealing outfits wouldn't be the only thing you could download.
I remember the good ole days of modding GTA Vice City on PC. There are no limits with what might be possible these days.

Anyone else read this ? http://www.videogamer.com/ps4/project_cars/preview-3841.html

Hope I'm ok putting up this link .

Article is from January, so the AI behavior described is already patched. About the graphics and "GT6-like" environment..there are enough videos here to get your own impression (which are still downscaled from youtube): https://www.gtplanet.net/forum/threads/the-project-cars-video-thread.303289/page-97#post-10565293

And for the driving behavior...I can't find the gif that was posted a week ago. But it's a review of a site which even has the wrong platforms and release date against a lot of reviews which state the opposite and lots of gamers who did play this game for more than 1-2 hours who are all very pleased with the physics.
And coming from other games, you definitely need more time to get used to the physics (coming from GT6 I needed about 10-20 hours to get used to the behavior).

Edit: Found the gif!

Why do they release preview versions for review sites so early ? I mean I'm not that naive to believe everything I read or hear on the internet but some are and judging by the comments some have already written off the idea of buying Project cars based on this lame review !

To me that guy doesn't sound like much of a driver.

He uses the 'I' word ("Bambi on ice"), which tends to be a go-to description for people who don't understand oversteer. He then criticizes the "steering" but gives a joke-y description that sounds like understeer. Then he spends a long paragraph describing how the assists weren't helpful enough and he felt like giving up because there wasn't a rewind function.

That said, I'm keeping my expectations grounded -- fun to drive but not necessarily the most realistic -- so I'm not just ragging on him in defense of a game I've never played. You can get a pretty good idea of how fun a racing game is by reading about it, but I know I can't trust anyone's opinion on realism until I've tried a game myself.

Really?! Does that involve console alternatives only or sim racing in general (Computer included)? I want to believe that it's the best on consoles yet. The king. Hm...
