But it appears on the PS Store, so I reckon that's a pretty solid release date. I don't think SONY would list it unless it's for sure. It certainly never appeared on the PS Store for the previous 3 release dates. (Nov, Mar, Apr).
it's a good start, for sure

smoke ,coffee and than start to play ,toilet pfffffff can wait .....another smoke , drinking from cold coffee ,damn i hate cold coffee ,make fresh cup of coffee ,smoke and play play and play some moooooooore .

I'm a smoker myself but not in the living room. Thing is, my bathroom is just to small for the rig. :D

I have like 95 hours plus at work so Thursday, Friday and Saturday will be booked as free a week before release.

I just hope not all of that content is paid packs costing 30+ euros each. I hope some new cars and tracks get added for free too. I'm thinking of abandoning support for AC and moving to PCARS, supporting it through DLC. I just hope they don't (pardon the term) "milk" the consumer with paid content that's too expensive.
If the game is as good as we all hope then I want to give all my support to SMS so that they make lots of $ and continue supporting PCars and remain viable as a company. I hope they are very successful and I'll be buying all the DLC etc that they release. Take my money SMS! I'm with you totally about it not being too expensive though.

So on licensing, is assetto corsa's developer also small? If so, how did they get ferarri, Nissan, Chevy, Alfa... etc? Were these post release and they could only afford more due to more sales?

Has me wondering if once pcars comes out, hopefully sells good, maybe they can afford more cars

Yeah, this latest DLC is obviously post-release.
I'm sure if pCARS sells well we will see lots more content added.

I think Kunos is much smaller. They have a special connection to Ferrari, they're from Italy and developed "Ferrari Virtual Academy".
Ferrari has been in AC for a long time.

I'm afraid not but i do have a our classification guide.
15031503054817fc04566bd

sadly i've never seen any class B bugs.

Thank you for the chart.
I can now rest knowing that any bugs will be identified correctly and dealt with accordingly.

When the latest delay was announced we were told there was going to be a free DLC pack, which would be revealed "shortly". Aren't we there yet?

The fact that it will be free is pointless for us planning to get the season pass, I'm just curious what the first DLC will be.

Nobody not in the loop knows what that free DLC pack will be. But I believe it's safe to assume that it won't be any of the pre-order bonus cars, as it would take the incentive away of actually pre-ordering the game. And it won't be the bonus cars from the limited edition, either, as it would be hard to justify the higher retail price of the LE if all you'd get extra would be the steel case and a behind-the-scences booklet.

Well, anyone who pre-ordered the Digital Edition on Steam already has both packs (LE and Modified) included so pretty sure it'll be something other than those...

Doesn't mean they can't make those cars available for everyone, though. But as I already said, that seems highly unlikely.

They'll be available for sure later on, but given these packs are related to pre-ordering and/or higher priced version they'll have some aura of exclusivity associated to them...

I checked yesterday and it looked like you only got the modified pack for pre ordering on steam, didn't see the LE cars mentioned?

Okay,
So Now I feel, both relieved and totally ripped off at the same time.
I pre-ordered Project Cars from Amazon back on Sunday, July 20, 2014.
Today I was feeling like I needed to be prepared the day this thing hits my doorstep and know that my Logitech G27 will not be supported, So, I went ahead and ordered the following:

1). Thrustmaster T300 RS Wheel/Base
2). Thrustmaster Wheel to Logitech Pedal Adapter - By Ricmotech (I think the G27 Pedals look a lot nicer/higher quality than the T300)

While there I also Pre-Ordered the following:

3). Thrustmaster TM Leather 28 GT Wheel Add-On

I feel ripped off because I really would not have purchased a new wheel or any of this if my Logitech G27 was supported, so they kind of forced my hand.

I really hope that I don’t regret this purchase, can anyone comment on if they think this wheel is worth the money? I paid $399 for the T300, I am used to the leather on the G27 so that is what made me purchase the 28 GT Wheel Add-On.

the T300 is a great wheel, i've had one for a few months myself and i love it, not sure about any of the other bits you ordered but i'm sure the leather rim is really nice too.

however i think there are other threads on here where you'll get more info and feedback. try the T300 vs T500 thread, amongst others

Do you think that SMS really didn't want to support the Logitech wheels? I'm sure if there was a (legal) way to do it, then they would have, but their hand was forced by a console manufacturer who wanted to sign a contract with a previous unpartnered peripheral manufacturer, and a peripheral manufacturer who had no intention of providing further support for their devices, or spend money on developing support. SMS are not the bad guys here.

I understand, I guess I just needed to vent, I never really gave it any consideration that a peripheral that I purchased for the PS3 would not automatically be supported on the PS4. This just seems odd, but I guess if you look at it from a financial point of view it makes perfect sense to the ones making the decision to do that.

Thanks for the info though.
