I own lots of Logitech products,keyboards, speakers,wheels,yes 3 wheels,etc.
Did anyone own a DFGT and switch to a G27? Costs the same as switching to a Thrustmaster.
Sell your stuff and buy what works on PS4. Work some overtime.

Not quite. $99 DFGT >> $220 G27, taxes excluded. Both from Best Buy/Future Shop. The T300 is listed at $449 and that's with 2 pedals and no shifter. Better wheel for sure, but now that I've put some time in using the shifter on older cars and worked on my heel and toe, driving those older cars with paddles just doesn't seem right anymore. :grumpy: Fortunately I can upgrade piecemeal if I want to on the PC with adaptors for the G27 pedals and shifter before upgrading those as well.:)

Not quite my friend,in April of 2010,Logitech raised their prices,to $399. On my phone but if you google G27 price in April 2010 you will see a locked GT Planet thread on price gouging. Read up.

I made the switch at Christmas 2012. Best Buy price matches, so I found the lowest Canadian online retailer and they matched the price. At that time they were all around the $230-250 mark. You can pick one up right now for $200 and free shipping!!

$419:95 delivered from Costco Canada. Thrustmaster TRS 300
That's a good deal:tup:

I'm well aware of that. Own DFGT,G27 and still have my old Logitech Momo.
Already have PS4 and PC.
From what I've read the TRS is a better wheel.
I work 2 weekends its paid for.

Thrustmaster and Sony would like to thank you for 'showing the initiative' 👍
You can already ask the boss to schedule 2 weekends of overtime again in a year or 5 when your T300 will go obsolete due to a brand new security chip :D

Sorry I am the boss. I schedule my own overtime.
I work 48 hours a week, every week anyhow. Doing it for 20 years.
Yes we can blame Sony,Thrustmaster, Logitech, blah blah blah.
Logitech doesn't work on PS4, get over it.
Sell your outdated not working Logitech stuff and buy a Thrustmaster. Should soften the blow.
Did everyone moan and gripe when you had to buy a wheel for your PS3?
I own a outdated 1965 Impala, get parts for it,good luck, people ask what's the gas milage, who cares what the gas mileage is,I didn't buy it for gas milage. But I have one.

I don't need to get over nothing as it's not a trauma, i'm just not going to bend over for this consumer scam.

My CSR and GT3 wheels are working just fine, no reason to sell them at all especially seeing i just bought them in the last 2 years.

Nope they didn't as there was no security chip from PS2 to 3:

Darn this thread has a lot of deja vu's

Stop this PC master race crap. Both PC and console have their respective pros and cons. Just stop fighting over such pointless things. TO EACH THEIR OWN! Dang it. That's so annoying.

Sorry, had to be said. It's so annoying to see people fight over which platform is better for video games.

 Check your sarcasm detector if you don't get the picture.

Sorry, it broke down two days ago and is currently under maintenance.

Anyway, that wasn't directed at you, just in general. It's so disgusting.

:D Maybe, but some people don't get it. It doesn't matter what you play on, as long as you're comfortable with what you're playing on and like your system. No need to feel superior over anybody who doesn't share your view or opinion.

Let me point out that pCARS on the PC likes wheels with plenty of FFB power.

You will be able to use a Logitech wheel to play pCARS (and all other sims) on the PC, but like other modern sims pCARS will benefit from a more powerful Thrustmaster or Fanatec wheel. Or a nice expensive direct drive wheel of course....

That sounds great for someone who wants to pay $500 for a wheel with no shifter or clutch pedal, and a pedal set as good as a dfgt....

Logitech pulled out of the console markets and announced it over 2 years ago. The reason stated by their CEO was due to the company's financial loss at the time. They announced they were pulling out. Is there any reason for Sony to support them after Logitech decided to drop console product support? None of Sony, Thrustmaster or Slightly Mad Studios subsequently sold the product that would no longer be supported.

I say this having also signed the petition last year but seen no action from Logitech.

Don't vent your anger here people or get steamed up with each other. Logitech aren't reading. Just us friendly gamers here.

That doesn't explain Sony not supporting Fanatec wheels though...

If I wanted to buy a wheel for ps4, knowing I want a load cell brake, I would need to buy a T500rs (no load cell mods for t3pa rubbish plastic pedals), a th8a, and a load cell mod like a ricmotech load cell for t500rs. The grand total of that set up for me would be well over $1000aud! If I bought a fanatec csr, with crs elite pedals, that come standard with a load cell, and look better quality than the t500 pedals, and get the shifter with it, it would only cost me $560aud. From what I've read, the T500rs wheel itself is a little better than a csr, but not as good as a csw, but at around double the price of a full csr set up with the elite pedals, there is no chance it is THAT much better...

Yes I do appreciate the pain mate.

It's either start again with the stock Thrustmaster (the T300 pedals are much better than DFGT ones though). If I was you with all that Fanatech stuff I'd just save up, bite the bullet and get a gaming PC without the system upgrade restrictions of consoles.

Yeah that's the plan. My point was if Sony supported Fanatec stuff I'd be more than happy to buy a ps4 and spend the extra money on better fanatec gear lol. For what it'll cost for a decent pc and the basic but still good fanatec gear (csr+csr elite pedals+csr shifters), I could get a ps4 and clubsport base+pedals+shifter, and whatever clubsport wheel rims I wanted lol. As it stands, even a csr with clubsport v2 pedals, and clubsport shifter will cost me $300 less than a t500 with a load cell mod. :( Stuck between Sony and a hard place. Guess it's finally time to move on to pc.

I wanted to postpone the 'leap of faith' :dopey: as i still have a lot of great games on my old consoles that i have to start/finish, but seeing PCARS is nearby and i was going to move to pc anyway sooner or later, i'm guessing i'm going to opt for sooner. For 700 bucks you can get a next gen console beater already, and the way the gaming industry is going with both Sony and MS trying to get deeper and deeper into your pocket with each generation+ restricting you even more in what you can do with their products, it really is the best moment to 'convert' to pc right now ;)

I'll just keep my PS3 and 360 right next to my pc and use my CSR on the 3 of them.
