Yes there is. It's called money. You've got some of it. They want it. It's called capitalism.

What if the answer is “Ask Mister Kazunori!”; I can’t imagine the uproar should the next GT game unleashed legacy support...

[/speculation]

Sure "They" could apply to both Logitech and Sony...

The only way to change their minds is to not give them money thus forcing them to reassess.
Well they ain't getting anymore of my money, I can assure you of that. Logitech can't answer with, "money" though. So what reason can they actually give?

Logitech can whistle........ no G27 support for the PS4, no support for Logitech from me. :sly:

EDIT// Logitech are getting some backlash on Facebook - https://www.facebook.com/LogitechG - I'm not surprised.

Great! Let's Keep the backlash going until they respond. Facebook, Twitter, Logitech Forums. Let 'em have it!

There's been loads of contradictory information coming from low level customer support agents, they don't seem to actually know very much, I wouldn't read to much into it.

I'm gonna wait until Logitech make an official statement either way regarding legacy support. In the meantime I have my second hand Fanatec GT2 to keep me occupied.

👍

In my opinion, considering the value of your logitech wheel, you have made a proper choice waiting few months but now more waiting it is really against you (my opinion) as legacy support is beyond the unlikely.

In this scenario, if you don't want to move to pc, you're just destroying a lot of value out of that g25/or g27. You could have sold it by a good amount of money, now it's pretty worthless (compared to the price you paid) in the market and there will be a lot of second hand offers further pushing down prices.

I'm just trying to give you and advice based on my experience, it's not a critic to your approach.

I'm telling this cause i sold my DFGT in august for 80€ (bought at 90€ in 2009) and there were just a few to be purchased with good prices. After logitech g29 there are more than ever logitech second hand wheels on sale and with ridicoulous prices.. like 30€ for a DFGT fully functioning. (Italian market maybe not in the UK)

to close my post: i hate logitech now :)

I will bet whatever amount you want, that there will never be support from Logitech for anything under the G29. I sold mine, bought at T300 and Logitech can kiss me arse. The 300 is way better than a G27. So sell your Logitech wheels,or go PC.

That backlash on Facebook page though.....

I paid £41.88 for my G27, it's brand new, boxed & sealed, so there's plenty of value there. I paid about £168 for my G25 6 years ago & have had 6 years of great use out of it, & I already feel I've got my moneys worth. G25's sell second hand for up to about £150, especially ones in as good condition as mine with the box & everything it originally came with.

No, I won't be selling them or buying a PC, thank you very much!

:P

This the new "petition", spamming up facebook and twitter. Forget emailing them, just get hundreds of people to politely, but forcefully, flood their social media accounts with post after post about legacy support.

Agreed! Every time they post another photo of their "awesome" new wheel or another of their "what racing game do you guys like?" posts, we will be there to remind them that there are still issues they have "forgotten" to address.

So chaps, I think it's worth noting.... The Driving Force Shifter is not compatible with the PS3

Oh Logitech you are fumbling so much in the daylight it's not even funny...

Totally agree. Keep hounding them. 👍

OK so go to Logitech and whine and moan on their site,or Facebook,Twitter and what ever other site. Posting your anger or upset here is worth a can of worms. DON'T PURCHASE THIER PRODUCTS! It's as simple as that,no mice, speakers, etc, etc, etc.
I bought the TRS 300 happy I did.
Will never buy a Logitech product again!

Good point, but I think most of our frustration is amplified by being betrayed AFTER the fact. We already gave them our money and can't go back in time and un-buy their products. You are right that we should move on to other manufacturers, which most of us are. But we're not going to leave quietly without slamming the door on our way out so to speak.

This could hint the G29 will be straight recognised as DFGT when switched in PS3 mode. Interesting that Logitech, for one reason or another, "privileged" exclusive in-game-realtime-adjustments over manual shifting...

Wouldn't that also mean the clutch would not work as the DFGT does not have one? Will have to wait and see.

FYI they seem to be constantly posting new photos/messages to their facebook page to bury the older posts with all the hate in the comments. They even went as far deleting their latest post that I responded too and reposting it to get rid of my comment(presumably).

I noticed this too.

They also didn't bother replying to my message on Facebook either. I simply asked them 'when was G27 support going to happen on the PS4'. But nothing back so far. They must be too busy hyping up their "new" wheel.

Come on guys, don't let them get away with it! if Logitech are deleting/spamming facebook posts it means the message is getting through. Keep fighting until you know they are listening, keep fighting until you get a response, then keep fighting until you get the right response.

Love from
A. T300 Owner.

That is truly disgusting behaviour! Logitech are sinking lower & lower into a cesspit of their own willful ignorance, & my estimation of this company has taken yet another nose dive.

Logitech; why not just fess up?

👎 :yuck: :ouch:

EDIT: You do realise that you can write a review of the G29 on Amazon before it's released? GET WRITING PEOPLE!!! :mischievous:
