The interriors are not that detailed, then again PGR3 does not run at 60 frames per second or 1080p.

PGR3 doesn't run at 60 fps? I mean, it's a ton smoother than other 30 fps games...

I'll have to disagree there. I'm quite sure that a good amount of people that can afford 600$ for the PS3 can afford for a decent HDTV with 1080P resolution.

Good point.

No PGR3 is 30fps with motion blur, that what makes it look so smooth, the same way film looks smooth at 24 with motion blur.

well i am sorry to say that there are no TV's for sale in Brasil with 1080p. i have looked around just about everywhere and all i can find is 1080i. For those of u who own a 1080p set, how much better is it than 1080i, i am about to drop 3k out o my pocket and i want to know if i should wait (which i wont) or should i just get a 42" LCD or Plasma with 1080i now.

If u can prove me wrong by finding a 1080p set here, i would be more than happy.

^^^ You should just stick with a TV that does 720p actually. 1080i isn't worth it, and the price premium you'll probably pay in Brazil isn't worth it either, esp since you won't really notice a difference until you hit a TV larger than around 55".

I say just find a nice TV that does 720p and call it a day, 1080i might be a bonus, but it's not necessary.

Wait and see? Games need work? Everyone at TGS is in love with Lair and DMC4, MGS4 is captivating people, Unreal 2007 supports USER MODS...there's a TON of great news dropping with PS3.

Resistance has had a good reception from JAPANESE people....JAPANESE...they don't even LIKE first person shooters.

Japanese BBS says that PS3 games are not appealing.

White Knight is at 10% in the development. So it will come out by the end of 2007 in JAPAN. Also, there's no FFXIII on the floor playable. & I believe it will come also by the end of 2007.

Yeah, great stuff, but only in Europe & here.

The wrong strategy of Sony is they launch the PS3 in Japan first.

Though, I bet it's to hurry the launch or they'll get eaten by MS.(Everyone know MS target SONY)

The titles definitly made me skip the PS3 for 2007. But I agree it is powerful & it worth it for later on.

That's not even counting the list of other titles that haven't been officially announced that we know are coming.

Care to make a list of titles on the 360 that trumps that? Not to mention I'll be able to play nearly all of my PS2 games on my PS3 in 720p with AA and won't have to worry about 75% of them not working.

Should I even mention the fact that Oblivion, FEAR, Ninja Gaiden, and possibly "Dead Rising" (I think this game sucks) are coming to the PS3 (more than likley)? I shouldn't have to .

Basically, you're just saying "Hey, I own a 360, so I'll just say the PS3 sucks, even though I really don't know much about it, because i Don't read much about it, because I don't care about it, SIMPLY because I own a 360".

He he..I am an Asian too, and I love Resistance , F1, (I watch F1 every weekend) I don't care about NBA or NFL. Amazingly, I am not really a big fan of RPG, turn base fighting system just doesn't work for me. Overall, I am happy with Sony launch litles and those coming in 2007.

Chrismast is the time they make money, but the timing is really bad. I though twice before buying oblivion. I don't like western dragon knight. A FPS that appeal to japan taste is Ghost Recon advanced warfighter. It feel thigh & very sim & a taste of an understandable what war is. All the other FPS are meh for them. The Current lineup on the XBOX 360 is so so, but with those RPG coming along the way it make it worth to buy & complete what they need in Japan to have fun.

The sell of the PS3 will do great in America & Europe. I have no doubt about it. Though in Japan I'm a bit insecure about it.

Ask people who own a XBOX 360. I never played Fight Night & Burnout & almost all the FPS except Far Cry for the water. people can peek at my gamertag & you can see that I didn't touch most FPS. NFS most Wanted was sold 10$ for me, but I would have never buy that game otherwise.

It was like that with the XBOX 360. Though the game that will launch in Japan is worrying. Will they get more stuff than us with the PS3?(Knowing that it take more times to make a PS3 game)

Games that sell in Japan are mostly turn based one & have little role playing inside.

Not once in your life have you posted a goodie. I've posted more credible and up front information than you, and more recent screen shots. You merely keep comparing everything to the frame craptastic title called Gears of War, and no one cars. the horrible frame rate of GoW makes me laugh...are they really struggling that hard to get it to look THAT good that they ahve to sacrifice frame rate?

You know I can't believe MS sell their 360 like this, this is what a guy who made the 360 laptop has to say:

Sure they've got that fan that sort of pulls air past them, but still the GPU especially gets REALLY hot. Lacking an infrared thermometer I can only compare it to things. Hm... How about when you microwave a bowl of something and the bowl's so hot you can only carry it for about 1 second before setting it down? Yeah, that's about right. (Don't ask me what that is in Celsius) The worst thing is that's what it's like running open air as shown above, I can only imagine how hot it gets in that case. Maybe Microsoft could sell a coffee warmer attachment or something...

I wouldn't be knocking on GoW for that. Fall of Man has the same frames per second rate, you know.
