Here to I'm at 2.0 GB from the 4.164 GB .

I've got a couple things I need to speak up about. First I have to echo azidahaka about the race length. This series was advertised as two 30 minute sprint races. So far every race has been 40 minutes or more. While I'm sure some are ok with that, it can lead to people running out of fuel early if they don't catch how many laps the weeks race is (which is also not posted in the OP which would make it incredibly easier to find) but after last week's race I was pretty ticked at how much time was spent between practicing and the actual races. It's taking too long and the driving quality has made me question whether it's worth continuing.

Speaking of the incidents of last weeks race...

The worst ones in my eyes are drivers taking other drivers out intentionally or being a little too much elbows out style.

PROVISIONAL RACE WEEKEND RESULTS - These will be subject to change after penalties are applied.

Mr GT Academy look at my wheel if I ever tried run you off the track tell me if it ever turns into you. Going to put a fender on me on the most unbalanced corner and act like I brake check you. You lost in on maggots like 4 times this weekend but yeah you want to call it a brake check.

Had a really good race coming threw the field was out of sink took my self out on first corner. Took it easy ran consist kept my nose clean and my ass I pulled away cough cough. Don't act like you didn't like my pass into copse @LVracerGT

I always keep a cool head when I race. Don't race people the way you don't want to be raced. You can't deal with it so your the ashole.

Lv would have tried it then cried about it later when his number #23 Kotex ruf hits the wall

F#&$ amateurs

Not only did BlownSmokeOs try to intentionally wreck me, he was extremely disrespectful and personally attacked me multiple times (Also against the GTPlanet AUP). Any other league I've been involved with would have zero tolerance for this kind of behavior. After the warnings you made from the driving quality in the first two races, if this is going to be ignored then I will be respectfully withdrawing from this series. I do not spend time practicing and showing up on race day to deal with this kind of BS.

Bitching - Can we all please reduce the amount of bitching which is causing the thread and series to de-rail. I understand people have issues, it would be best handled in private conversation between the two drivers. If people are not intending on racing any further in the series, please can you let me know via message and I can arrange replacements to keep the rooms full. I would rather people contacted me directly to pull out, as it just adds potential negativity to the thread for whatever reason, I would like to try and avoid that.

Like I posted earlier, I will be implementing a penalty system before the next race, but have yet to discuss and decide on penalties between stewards (to also be confirmed), but will do this before the weekend. Suffice to say they will range from 10 secs to 30 secs, will be applied if evidence is provided of an offence.

I will be updating the rules with additional information, which I will urge everyone to read once posted. It will relate to the way to handle contact and issues. Basically common sense, you hit someone, you do not pass them until they are back up to race speed, even if that costs you a position(s). The way to avoid losing positions waiting for someone to regain the track is to not hit them in the 1st place. Other issues will be dealt with, but if people are not fair in relinquishing positions, a penalty will be applied to negate any gains acquired by carrying on, so it in your best interest to wait.

There are other issues I will address, but I am in work at the moment and felt the need to post to calm everyone the F:censored:k down! I will do my best to handle things from now on by applying penalties for infringements, but the finger pointing needs to stop, as this is how the last series fell on its arse. I would like to avoid that.

I would appreciate people handling their differences a little less publicly, it brings the thread and series down, which I do not want. Once people start getting on the 'I'm leaving' bandwagon, things quickly fall apart, I would like to prevent that.

I think you have this all wrong. People are bitching because you have thus far failed to implement a system for people to protest incidents on track despite multiple incidents and contenders asking for it, and with all due respect a protest/penalty system should have been taken care of before the first race just as any other league that wants serious, clean racing. This has caused people to hash it out in the forums because that's been our only option. Series get de-railed when they are mis-managed and people end up bitching about it.

I hear you man and others do as well, but what exactly do you want to happen regarding past events? How you feel right now is how I felt after Hockenheim when you hit me. I'm completely over it now and I'd assume you are too. All anyone can do is tell you things will be different now.

Honestly I think smoke took things too far on the forums, but it was a heat of the moment thing. He's a genuinely nice happy guy if you get to know him.

Thing is I didnt try to wreck you. I can see how you think I did after my small off, but I was at least respectful in our discussions about it afterwards. The one time I did hit you on purpose I gave you a slight shove in the rear to put you a little wide, didn't force you off the track or intentionally try to wreck you. Smoke tried to wreck me twice, then forced me off track wide after I executed two clean passes back on him over the course of the whole incident. That coupled with his attacks on the forums should definitely result in some sort of penalty. At least that's how it would be handled in any other league I've been in.

Edit: I should also add that I'm fully aware my actions at Hockenhiem should have also resulted in a penalty. But that's also part of the case I'm making for how the series has been handled so far.

Just wanted to let you guys know I''m still here. I missed the last race due to being called in to work. Everybody knows that has raced with me in the past that im a workaholic. I belong to the over worked, under payed class. I really didn't mind missing that track because honestly, I don't like silverstone that much. I don't know about you guys but id put money on that almost everyone loves bugatti. This track man is awesome. Im getting great feel in the wheel on this track. Ive really put some time into the force feedback system and got it feeling really good now. This track complements my efforts immensely. This is the first time i believe Ive played this track before and Im hooked. Look forward to sunday. 👍 :gtpflag:

Well, let me give you a little background info. This series is the result of a small group of people that were left over from another series that ended up being a joke. This small group invited friends and we had a series that was being run in a private conversation and word of mouth. Now Skaanky has gone the extra mile with collaboration with Karsten I believe and brought the series to the public forums. Now there are almost 40 people all with their own personalities. Initially a penalty system wasn't required because we were all used to racing with each other and the racing was fast, clean and fun. Now that the racing was become a lot less clean a penalty system is being added from Bugatti onwards. If you stick around you won't be disappointed.

It's not fair to question how a series is being managed in its first season on the 3rd race.

Take this in and read carefully. Is it worth continuing? YES. This is by far the greatest bunch of guys I've ever raced with. I've also learned a lot from these guys. Thats my two cents. Also i need some practice buddys for early morning around 8:30 am EST. I work third so I miss when everyone gets together usually. Just let me know and we can hook up any day during the week. Also i just ordered the tritton pro+ 5.1 Headphones. Any of you tried these?

Yep have the Tritton pro for some time. Pricey but well worth the money feels solid and robust with it's build. Never give me any bother. Other headsets I had would snap or break at the ear cup if you let them fall, But with the Tritton no fear of that. 👍

Good to hear. I really like the independent drivers for the 5.1. I believe its the only true surround sound headset besides the virtual surround sets out there. Thanks for the feedback bro!! 👍

@LVracerGT C`mon.... who i´m gonna bump next race?
joking obviously, things tend to improve over time, so, just stick arround and see what happens, this is just a game in the Playstation, i don´t get why people get so agravated by it.
I actualy enjoy a lot more the races when there´s some close fights and even some touches...

Same here @Goruk. Some of the best fun I've had yet was racing @azidahaka at hockenheim the other week. Although he might not agree
I got the short part of the stick there :D

Concerning the serie and the many people a bit too over the lines, i would want to say a couple words.

Guess i'm where i belong now in room 2, last positions. My race at Silverstone was a nightmare, had lag crash, pitstop bug after i had a crash with a guy that spun right in front of me, then i was sent out with a questionable move.... If you add this to hockenheim it was really 2 nightmarish races.

I just told myself it can't possibly go ANY worse than this, so i keep sticking around in hope i won't be killed like in last 2 rounds, else my patience might be gone for good :D

When i get such streaks of race/results it's very, very hard for me to cool down and restart putting hours and hours in training to be one of the slowest and always have "race issues".

I haven't yet cooled down properly after last 2 rounds, but i'll try to give a few laps today. I think tomorrow i'l train more seriously since i might have cooled down.

I know it sounds bad, but i take this seriously even if i'm in the lowest tier and lowest part of the tier as far as speed goes.

Racing is something i wished all my life but could never ever do due to the cost associated with it... Even karts were prohibitive. So the best i could do was watching F1 and other races since i was a kid and dream of being there. It didn't happen but in years at least games have got that much better that you can actually lose contact with reality for a split second every now and then, and those fleeting instants are like you are in the real thing.

So, yes i take it too personally, yes i race as if i was to get in hospital crashing, yes i get sad/pissed when i'm crashed into, sent out, or just being overly slow :D Yet i do try to race as slow as i am as "professionally" as i can, and that being recognized by many fellow and fast racers is one of the small satisfactions i can boast about in my virtual racing career.

So if i'm a bit edgy or moody at times after a bad race or after being forced out of one, bear with this sad small man :D

One thing to add here you are not the slowest, myself, fill140 and branoluckybeatz are slower :indiff:, And I feel that even if us four are the slowest in room two (which you are not) and will probably not win in room two but who knows:boggled:.
We can still have edge of the seat racing at the back of the pack which is where Iam at, it seems that mid pack racers always have problems, so Iam sweet where Iam

One point at Silverstone myself and DanRC had a grand battle, which I thoroughly enjoyed. it was fair and it was clean  mate. So even if the races are about Pole position and beating that chequrered flag first. Its the experience that grips me.

So talking about experience and immersed into the racing frame of mind whats your take on Playstation VR, will you be there on day one hoping that PCars or Asetto Corsa caters for it even tho they said that they would do. ? :gtpflag:

It was some real good racing. I can make mistakes but none are ever intentional. I hope for the same again on Sunday!

It's not fair to question how a series is being managed in its first season on the 3rd race.

While I respect how the series was formed (the GTR2 league I competed in was formed in a similar manner and I was there for 9 seasons) it still doesn't justify the way I was driven against by Smoke in the last round or how he conducted himself in the forums afterwards. We knew there would be incidents and formed a competition committee from the start to handle incidents. Surely this isn't your guys first series I would imagine since you left a previous series for being a joke, so why would you let this series start off the way it has?

Even though a lot of you are friends so were we back on GTR2, and there were similar incidents like what smoke did to me. They were suspended, or banned based on how bad the incident was and how they handled themselves afterwards. Like I said, every league I've been in has had zero tolerance for intentionally trying to wreck another racer.

And yes, I know this is a "game" but to some people it's more. To me, it's a training tool. I spend time practicing so on race day I can compete and enjoy it while increasing my skills. And when you show up every week to get punted off track, or someone trying to intentionally wreck you and there's no repercussions then it's not worth the time anymore.

As I've said multiple times. A penalty system is here for Bugatti onwards. How you feel about past incidents is how you feel and no one is able to change that no matter how many penalties are given out. No one is saying you were right or wrong or smoke was right or wrong. You both made errors in judgement and need to move on. It's been 4 days.

Yes what McGerty said. Also if you are side by side on exit be VERY careful you don't push somebody wide and give them a penalty. If you do then wait for them while there going 30mph as you've just given them a penalty. This track is amazing for racing but we all need to use some sense to avoid tears.

Alright, I'm done here. Please remove me from the roster. I'm FULLY aware of what's been decided upon. I replied to your post to respond to the points you made, then get grief again. The decision to ignore everything so far to forget it and move on has been the same response for every round and is the reason the quality of racing here is ****. The decision to let slide one racer trying to intentionally wreck another coupled with the COMPLETELY UNNECCASARY disrespectful attacks is not a series I want to be involved in.

Also I made no errors in judgement. I can't predict being brake checked mid corner. The replay evidence is there. I also stayed respectful in my posts afterwards.

Btw, some people have lives and full time jobs. I respond when I can. The amount of time passed shouldn't make any difference if it's before the next round. Also the leader of this series has still yet to respond to my posts and you don't see me bitching about how long it's taken him when he's the captain of this ship.

Good luck with the rest of the series.

Political mode ON [OFF] Yes you did make an error in judgement and no you were not brake checked. You coast through the later half of the esses while smoke brakes through them. I brake even earlier than him, so if you were following me you would have punted me in the grass instead of pushing me wide. You then took advantage of smoke having a bad exit, since you pushed him wide, and tried to pass him on the straight. He then retaliated on the next corner since you tried to take advantage. No one is hear to satisfy you and you think your always right.

Enjoy the rest of your Wednesday.
