After Audi Sport and Reinhold Joest won the 24 Hours of Le Mans 3 years in a row, they decided that entering 2 cars was a bit pricey, and they really wanted to humiliate their opponents badly this time.
Mr.Joest thought of it very longly, and then decided to bring this R8 to the 2003 edition of the 24 hours of Le Mans... only 1 car, with 4 drivers.
