Only saw 1 car spun out on the track. Also I don't have the power to call or not call cautions :sly:

What lap was it? I'll check it now just to get it out of the way. Had my map on 2 or 3 so I could see cars around me easier.

I'd set the car up wrong for the race too...way too much oversteer in 3 and 4 when behind someone.

Just watched the replay, Neljack clearly saved it, only Cowboys spun...lap 80 turn 3-4
Also penalty on Smuffy for not using the proper pit ettiqutte?
Also looking at the replay, looks like Owens got 4th place from me by 0.005 or something lol

When I get round to going over smuffy pitting, I'll ask someone else to help/advise since me and him are on the same team.

EDIT: Yep, Neljack saved it with a tap against cowboys on my replay.

Anyway, send your various complaints to me as usual. Include the lap number if you can to make it easier. Despite their unpopularity, I DO think our decisions in the race were the correct ones.

EDIT 2: RPH came 4th with Owens a lap down in 5th. When the leader crosses the line, everyone else's races end when they next cross the line. Owens was exiting turn 4 at the end of lap 130 (for him) when smuffy won, meaning he finished the race having done 130/131 laps. RPH had already crossed the line to begin lap 131 before smuffy had won.

Unofficial order:

1. Smuffy
2. Spurgy
3. Joe
4. RPH
5. Owens
6. Fraiser
7. Neljack
8. Indywolf
9. Cowboys
10. Matty

Pole position went to me by about 0.030 Most laps led is between spurgy and smuffy, who both led a lot of laps at different stages of the races.

Enjoyed it last night just a bit disapointed I got caught up in Joe and Mattys spin (or lag in Matty's case, not sure what it was :ill:) felt I had the pace to be up there for once on an oval :(

On me pitting, I was following cowboys who I presume lagged so tapped the breaks, was then rear ended by whoever was following me. I pitted because I had engine damage.

Just counted up my laps, I lead 59 out of the first 70 laps, Smuffy lead 1, so to beat me he needed to lead 59 out of the last 60 laps and he definitely didn't do that so I think it's safe to say I got most laps lead :D

As said last night, I'm pretty much done with GT5 with all it's issues and limitations. I'll be running part time till the end of the Sprint Cup season after being persuaded by Tyson but I'm resigning from everything else effective immediatley.

Joe and Matty are taking over as co-race directors and will probably create an identical, new thread very soon. Apologise for the abruptness of this but real life is so busy now and I just don't have the time or motivation to give this the 100% dedication you guys deserve. It's been a blast, you're all good mates, this past year has been great fun and I hope to see you around in the future.

Tom

Any regular IndyCar drivers want to run in Lights? Race is starting in 30 minutes.

EDIT: Retiring from IndyCar+Lights, and beginning to retire from nearly all GT5 race series. Yes, I'm jumping on the "slowly retiring from GT5" bandwagon.

Wait so technically I run this now? :nervous: I don't know if I could do that. With the way things are at home at the moment.

Personally right now I won't be able to help. And I don't think I will when this issue is resolved either as I am also losing interest.

Ditto The only reason I play GT5 is to get 1000 cars trophy, series I fell like I'm dragging to play them and more involved in f1 and iracing

Might get some hate for saying this but perhaps it's time to call it a day for this series if no ones 100% commited :nervous: :nervous: :nervous: :nervous: :nervous:

I think that's the way it's going, it's had a good run.

At least finish the season?

It's up to you guys really; if somebody wants to take it over full time, just create a new thread (identical to this) and PM Wardez or Tim on here or PURE about becoming the administrator for IndyCar points results so you can tap them in on the site.
