Thanks for the link Eddie. Will have to try it out. Although I like Tim's idea of pure alcohol. Can't remember what I put on them last, some sort of contact cleaner.

Monza should be... fun. :P

Looking for a qual room today. (Not looking forward to one, lol.) I'm not having any luck finding speed here. Can't break into the 9's to save my life.
Amazing job by the top Q dogs on this one!

I'm practicing and waiting for a room to open up as well. Having a very difficult time. Even outlaw's set up can't help me this week.

Reasonably happy with this setup so far.

Try that joe, I found that setup alot better. 👍

Stick around DMH, I should be on soon and maybe I can help you break into the 9's? I'll post a room number up here when it's open, unless there is one already up when I get on.

I had to go into the office today to get some work done and, surprise, I am still here and probably will be for another couple hours. That being said, I can't make it to the race tonight. Responsibility is a son of a female dog.

I was really looking forward to this race because GP/F is a great track and my Roadster feels quite good here. Oh well, there goes the championship.

Man to bad I shorted the entry on last chicane my second flyer. Was up some on my previous lap.

Looking forward to tonight's race.

Anyone have any good April Fools jokes?

GrayFox will be joining us from the rear, so that at least makes 8.

I guess those actually running tonight can look forward to making up some ground in the points.

Anyway, Division 2 room is open:

1472 - 6118 - 3744 - 3751 - 6392

I never had a chance to qualify, had a busy night, hoping I am still able to race tonight, should be on in a bit

Ahh man... now i feel real bad for doing this but i wont make the race. Apparently i was supposed to be at birthday party half an hour ago, now i'm getting sh** for it. So i'm now rushing over there. Really hoping its not a April fools joke.

This race turned out to be pretty cool. I was afraid this track was going to eat me alive earlier this week, but those fears were unfounded.

Hardly anyone went off, good job guys.

Congrats to Welsh for dominating the race. Him and outlaw swapped the fast lap of the race back and forth for a few laps, was exciting to watch. Results have been posted. Points should be done later tonight.

Next week should be exciting too. Details to come. ;)

Must have used up all my racing luck.

I don't know why, but my start was not good even though I did nothing different than all the other races. That allowed Erick to try passing for 2nd. I wasn't having any of that, however, so I raced him hard through the first few corners. Unfortunately, all of that allowed Nige to pull away just enough that I lost his draft. Based on the splits, I was either keeping or gaining on him ever so slightly, but all the constant defensive driving I had to do soon after negated whatever gains I had.

Eventually, I was around 3 second behind Nige on Lap 12 when I decided to pit early. One great out lap later, I all but caught up to him as he pitted a lap later, except there was a problem. Directly in front of him was two cars that hadn't pitted yet, battling for position. We both got through the first car, but when I tried clearing the second one at Bit-Kurve, I got nudged just enough that I ate some dirt. With a lap on my tires, I slowly lost time from 2 second to 9 at the end.

At least my teammate finished 4th, so RDS did well. Yet, can't help but feel somewhat frustrated that I never had a chance to put up a challenge.

That round was dropped anyway, doesn't matter?
Yes, except I had a good shot of winning that race. Really needed those bonus points.

If I'm Carl Edwards from last season, Nige is Tony Stewart. If I don't win the division, it's because his wins will trump my consistent finishes. I'll have to pull some more speed out of my car, somehow. :boggled:

Everything has been updated. Just a quick note, a few drivers are in danger of being deleted from the series. If they don't show for Monza, they will be.

I know I'm probably one of those drivers you're talking about. Sorry I haven't been around the past two weeks, been real busy at work the past few weeks, plus some other obligations that took up most of the past two weekends. Sorry I forgot to post on here or send you a message to let you know I would be missing those races. I am 100% planning to be there for Monza. Work should be slowing down a little for me, plus I'm at a client much closer to home, so I should even be able to get some practice in during the week :)

Yeah I luckily was able to hold it together on my off and not lose any positions. I think last night was my most fun race of the season. I knew bdub would be faster than me so I pretty much just let him go. After that I tried to keep up with him and RIP but they just kept creaping farther and farther away. I tried a little too hard though because I overdrove turn 5, hit the grass and slid across track into the gravel. I kept my composure though and just slowly made my way out of the gravel, luckily without the 2 cars behind catching up. I took it easy for the next few corners because I knew the dirty tires wouldn't stick too well then just continued. The most fun was the few laps after pitting I spent trying to beat my own best lap time, finally getting down to a PB of 2:11.3xx. Looking forward to this weekends race, as I'll have plenty of time to practice since I have 3 days off this week.
