In today's case, cautions bred cautions. Even running at pace speed was a problem today. :ill:

Oh, and I feel really bad for my teammate, Owens. I tried passing him for 4th at the worst possible time, when aliens crashed ahead of us heading into Casio triangle. Not sure exactly what happened after that. All I saw was sheer chaos behind me. :scared:
 
I'm getting the pre-season D2 races on Youtube with my HD-PVR so if someone gets the D2 replay up (preferably someone who drove in the race) then I can get that captured as well.

If someone is capable of putting the whole race there, I have the replay.

Otherwise, I'll have to bust out the camera, and take short clips. Won't take long. Just about everything happened around me. :lol:

Yeah, that chaos was why the caution flag flew. Unfortunately it was with 2 laps to go. If nobody had received damage, we would have went green next time by and had a 1-lap shootout. But I couldn't do that with cars having engine damage. So, new rule that I will update shortly is no cautions with less than 3 laps to go.

Can anyone that can skip forward in the replay get me a photo of the fast laps screen? :dopey:

Have you tested the method of starting the race while on track then quickly stepping out in order to enable replay skipping?
 
I want to apologize to everyone for the accordion in the esses on the 3rd caution. I paused the game because I spilled a glass of water in my lap and freaked out. I know it caused some issues for a few and had I known it was going to cause a problem I never would have pressed pause. Sorry, again. And yes, I did have to drive the second half of the race with a soaked crotch. :lol:

Let's see:

1. Got pushed into dirt exiting Casio early
2. Went sideways exiting hairpin
3. Waited an extra lap to pit, only for the safety car to come out
4. Almost took out Grey trying to pass at hairpin
5. Smacked in the bumper by CSL at T1, causing me to hit the car I was trying to pass, likely causing a caution
6. Saw Welsh lose it at T1-T2
7. Continuously had to hit brakes because maintaining pit speed is too hard
8. Saw Welsh pulling up toward the front during safety car period for reasons unknown
9. Almost took out my teammate, Owens, at T1 when he didn't try passing Aliens
10. All but lost it entering Spoon by pushing too hard
11. Saw aliens crash entering Casio triangle as I tried passing Owens on the inside

I think dnfs should not be eligible for dropping. There are cautions now enabling you to regain the space you might lose on lap one at some point during the race. There's no reason to dnf anymore.

That was my fault buddy, sorry. I think someone had slid up the inside of you and you kindly gave room. I then ran in a little too hot and couldn't avoid contact with the side of your car.

I'll post more tomorrow, but that was one sloppy race for me. :(

I didn't even realize that Diabilical quit until after the race. Gravy quit because he was upset that he was damaged under caution and I wouldn't give him his spot back.
