For my official take, similar to what I said last night, this was pretty much the perfect storm. I didn't drive well myself, and from what I saw, most of the field was in that same bracket at least part of the race.
I've certainly learned a few things though. :)

Tamed the walls but bungled the last corner on my 2nd flier. Probably wasn't any faster anyways.

Car feels okay, but it's certainly no rocket ship. Probably another mid-pack start, so hopefully, the safety car period comes out at opportune times. :sly:

I am going to be very picky this weekend though about what I throw the yellow for, since we don't have anywhere for cars to go off track.

Yeah, why not... had the day off. No point in putting it off when I was comfortable with my pace. Besides, qualifying early is fun.
My pb and nige's pb were coincidental 1'48.914. Got 1'48.6 under the draft and without the tow I doubt I'll be going faster than 48.7. Took a rest after the walls got painted and then did two mock sessions in free-run and was hitting 49.1-49.3 so I went for it... Cold tires made the first flyer a bit slow; second one I was on a good run with around 1-flat-dot-6 at the t2 line and just barely overcooked the entry to the double apex right and got some wall. Wasn't hard enough to cause damage but ate about a half second off my 3rd sector.

All good though. Pole is pretty meaningless with a 1 mile straight and 49.* should be good to make the field. GL procrastinators! :sly:
 
It's just not my day, or maybe you could say it is. I knew I had a soccer match next Sunday, which are usually in the afternoon, however this one is a 9pm kick-off (mountain time). Sorry to say that you can take my time off the sheet, as I won't be able to make it. Wasted 2 hours practicing and failing at quali' today for nothing, lol.

Oh btw, is Nepalii still gonna be around? 'cause I don't remember seeing or hearing why he wasn't at Suzuka.

I raced tsukuba season one got lapped, got frustrated, then practiced and came back for season 2 and 3. 👍

Its dethcore now hehe.. I raced season one and that was it, :), but I'm back for good now, I missed it a lot.
 
Didn't know about season 1... think pony bologna roped me in for season 2 while I was still doing casual racing with other academy "also-rans".
 
Sad, sad news guys. I found out today that my FMSC folder on my USB stick, (the one I used to keep all my FMSC stuff portable) was deleted somehow over the weekend. I'm not sure how it happened, but everything, and I do mean everything, is gone. :(

All my templates, any and all graphics I hadn't uploaded to the internet. All gone.

I feel sick. :ill:

If it helps, I deleted my GTP game save twice now, you'll build it back up.👍 (I imagine this may be pretty time-taking though)
Still sucks though.:ouch:

Oh, sorry to hear that. Thinking about backing up stuff never comes up until it's too late.

I'll need to create another template for the pre-race info, and figure out if I want to spend the time on re-creating all the sponsor logos. I don't think I'll need them again though, so it's really not that big of a deal. The OP is pretty much gold the way it is and the next series I run (if I run one) will need all new stuff anyway.

So yeah, just the race info sheet. It won't be that hard to put together though.

That's ******... Can't imagine how many hours you've put into graphics for this and all your other series...
 
Sorry to hear that dude. Every time I turn on my ps3 I expect my save file to be gone, it feels like Russian roulette every time lol.
 
Is anyone online right now? I just fired up GT5 and got a "connection to the server cannot be established. (ID = 1:536)

Reset the game and it happened again. :(

No issues at my end.

I know there's maintenance, but it's not until Thursday.
